When I need tools or material for home projects, I like to shop at smaller hardware stores whenever possible. In Nampa, I generally split between Lloyd's and Stone Lumber, depending on what part of town I'm in. Stone Lumber has a little more depth in tool selection and a slightly bigger store. Like many small hardware stores, service here is great. If you're a hardware junkie, you'll want to check out their late-summer yard sale. It's a good place to pick up doors, windows, odd-color spray paint, and lots of little tools for pennies on the dollar.
