Stewart Heating and Air Conditioning

I have nothing bad to say about the tech other than that he might have contacted the manufacturer of my furnace when faced with a confounding problem rather than suddenly saying he could not offer any further help and the company then recommending a new furnace (which I did not need). I received a partial refund from Stewart when my heat still did not work after they diagnosed a problem with the gas valves (they first diagnosed the circuit board). According to the professional with 26 years of experience I had to hire when Stewart could not fix my heat, my 13 year old furnace has an unusual configuration that might plausibly lead to a diagnosis of a problem with the valves. The professional accurately diagnosed the problem and now I have heat. I wrote Stewart a fair 3 star review on another platform and the owner initially made an appropriate reply, asking that I contact them if there was a way to improve my experience. That was to his credit. I was shocked when I later noticed that the response had been changed to make it appear that the Stewart “team” had gotten my heat back on (THEY DID NOT) and had finished the job to my “satisfaction” (THEY DID NOT). I believe this was dishonest and changed my review from 3 stars to 1 star. If someone just looked at the 3 stars and the (changed) owner response they would believe Stewart fixed my heating problem and that is just not true. It really upset me. Somehow my review has now been removed, as was my 5 star review of the professional who actually accurately diagnosed and fixed my heat. That is unfair to him - he did a superb job. Based on this, I could never recommend Stewart Heating and Air now, even though I liked their tech and thought he tried his best and had a great work ethic. The changed response soured me to this company since I prefer to deal with professionals with integrity. It is a shame. more

Jamie was able to quickly diagnose and repair my air conditioner. He was extremely cordial and professional. He even called to say he could arrive in advance of our scheduled 2 hour window if I was able to accommodate it. So, he had me back in the nice cool air in my home even earlier than expected! Don carried out a very thorough inspection of our air conditioner and furnace. We moved into a new home and I wanted to make sure everything was in good shape for an upcoming hot summer. He checked all of our vents and trouble-shooted/adjusted a vent that was not working well. He had a friendly, professional demeanor and made this service enjoyable. The price points were also very reasonable. I didn't feel like I was overcharged- I felt like I got a great deal for the work done. With that said, they will definitely have my business again. more

Technician, Don M., was prompt, courteous, thorough in his work, and kind. He discussed what he was doing and went out of his way to service the built on humidifier that is vitally important to our parrots. He cleaned up afterwards before he left. He should wear booties in all houses he enters or ask first before entering the house. more

We have been using this company for about 20 years. They installed our heating and AC, which have worked reliably over the years. Don is always friendly and does a thorough maintenance check. He makes sound recommendations without trying to upsell us on unnecessary projects. This time Sam was part of the team. He is also very pleasant and conscientious.
