My family and i went out to eat on Fathers Day 2011 at this not so friendly place. First we sat and waited for our food for over half an hour. They only had about 5 other tables filled up. and it took over half an hour really? Once the order came our fries were cold looked like they been recooked or cooked in dirty grease. then the chili had a hard coding on top, which means it has been sitting and now is cold . On to the other plate, the turkey club, oh man the bread was black, and it sure wasnt a turkey club i been gettin for the past 2 years of going to this place. the last time i got one which was last week, it had bread, meat, lettice, bread meat and lettice and bread. this one came with only alittle meat 2 pieces of bread and some cold ass fries. i brought it to the server's attintion she took the plate back then returned with the SAME one. they just took the sandwich cut it down in fours and stuck tooth picks in each piece, then brought it back. i asked to speak to a mang. i dont think she could of been any more rude. lol... Instead of explaining they have changed the sandwich and fixing the problem. she wanted to argue about it. by this time i had enough we got up to leave. she then told me she was goin to call the police if we left with out paying. we had not even made it to the counter to pay even if i was. With my 4yr old standing right their he heard her say she was calling the police on me and freaked out. NOW I DO NOT THINK THAT IS A WAY TO HANDLE THE SITUATION! WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THE STEAK N SHAKE!! we had 7 people at our table and this is the service we get when taking our dads out for fathers day dinNer!! THANK YOU STEAK N SHAKE so much for SCARING the hell out of my son, and ruining our fathers day!!!!!
