St. Mary's offers preschool classes two, three, or five mornings a week for children ages two and a half to four. They also offer a Mother's Morning Out program up to five days a week for children under two and a half. The programs increase in academic challenge as the children get older, but they still let kids be kids. The teachers are talented and great with children; most of them have children of their own and know how the preschool mind works. This is a place where you can really feel safe leaving your children (and my children can't wait to leave me when they get there -- always a sign of a good program!). The building isn't exactly state of the art -- it's in the church basement -- but they have everything the children need, and they're wiling to put real effort into focusing on the individual child's needs and interests.
