St Elizabeth Child Care Ctr

I have a baby boy who is now 16 months old.... So I am a paranoid, nervous, over the top Mom!!! And he has been attending this daycare since he was 9 months old. I was nervous about sending him anywhere, and definitely paranoid about any in home nanny care!!! St. Elizabeths eased all my fears!!! It's a wonderful place for a child to grow, play and learn. He loves his teachers! The staff are all concerned, caring and loving people. They are professional, clean, and well organized. He's very active and comes home tired after full day of activity! They are very structured and have a time for music, play, and learning. My son loves to dance, sometimes if the music on in the classroom he walks in Dancing! My son also plays extremely well with other children, and is very outgoing and independent. I think a lot of this has to do with St. Elizabeths. I highly recommend!!!! more

St. Elizabeth's worked when my daughter was an infant. This past year however, has been very difficult (she is 27 months). It might be just her teacher, but the children in her class spend close to 3 hours of the day strapped to their chairs in front of the TV. If they run around a lot and are very energetic, they are strapped down to a chair. Also, the teacher/child ratio is poor and fluctuates through the year. At one point there were 28 children with only 3 teachers. The staff are not communicative and the children don't receive individual attention. When parents raise concerns with the administrator, they are told to take their children out if they are not happy...which we are planning to do at the end of this school year. Best daycare around. You can't find anything better than this daycare/ nursery school. Reasonably priced too. Pros: wonderful teachers/ excellent learning facility more

I travel over 25 miles roundtrip to take my child to this school. I highly recommend it. I could not find a similar structure near my home. My requirements were simple. Open from 7:00 to 5:30 PM and provide a full day curriculum for one price. St. Elizabeth fit my schedule perfectly. The school is managed by nuns and the school is spotless. All children are invoived in putting on the Christmas shows. Pros: has parking lot, breakfast, lunch Cons: a little expensive more
