New "teacher" 10/25/2016

Why does this theatre have such an incompetent "teacher?" The service is poor, same for the price and quality. The competence of the actors show they need a professional teacher. Fun factor? No fun, terrible selections in the choices of the actors. Save your money because this is a waste of your time and money. All due to the terrible teaching ability's. more

Good place to see plays 4/12/2006

This has been around for a very long time in Springfield, so the theater is a bit run down and in great need of some remodeling and a makeover. However, even with that in mind, it is a great place to go see plays and local talent. While it is not Broadway in any sense, you will enjoy the shows here and find delight in the acting and the music in the musical shows. Ticket prices are fairly reasonable, and parking was pretty easy as well. more

Tight space, neat place 10/14/2005

This theater is aptly named- Little. Yet it is pretty cool, still. They have various plays going on all the time. Some stuff even for children. It is a little run down, but what more would you expect from an artistic bent in Springfield? The people are great, and I can't wait to take my daughter to see Bunnicula, an adaptation of the same titled novel. Prices are reasonable. more

Great shows cramped space 9/16/2005

My husband and I went to see To Kill a Mockingbird at the Little Theatre. The actors did a wonderful job and we really enjoyed the show. Just as a warning though the space is really crowded. If you need some leg room I recommend that you sit on the bottom floor. We started on the balcony and during intermission we went and requested different seats because we were both so cramped. more

Good for Springfield 8/19/2005

Springfield is not synonymous with art and since New York is too far, the Little Theater will have to do. There is some good talent there, but the productions tend to be somewhat mundane and blend. It does the trick for a one or twice a year outing, but not much more than that. more
