Splashdown is a great place for the entire family! It offers a large pool, a huge baby/toddler area, a lazy river, a water slide and a large recreation area (almost like a big tree house) that spills water every couple of minutes or so. I find that Sundays are the best, least crowded days to go. The concessions are alright but expensive so eat before you go! Also, it is expensive to go multiple times so a pass would be your best bet! more

Splashdown water park in East Peoria is a great time for the whole family. The only bad part is that it is often very crowded during the summers with lots of kids running around so it is usually hard to relax. They have a great lazy river though so you can float for hours soaking up the rays and keeping cool. The year round pass available is a great deal if you can manage to find enough time to visit it frequently. I recommend this to anyone looking to keep cool in the summer and have a great time with the family. more
