Sangria good, Paella Bad. There wasnt even saffron in it. Take a trip NYC say the sevilla restaurant to see and eat what real paella is. Pros: Sangria, parking Cons: food

Great ambiance, great food, great service! A++ 7/8/2006

I grew up in the Mountainside area and have been attending various events at the Spanish Tavern since it opened its doors 20+ years ago. First it was High School spanish class events, then as the midway point between college and my parents, then wedding showers, communions, etc, and now that I'm all grown up (hahah!) I find that the local companies I've worked for seem to enjoy going there for business gatherings! Pros: Free soup (and its great!!!), fresh seafood, professional waiters (not annoying HS kids!) Cons: no smoking allowed inside:( more
