Best

I get many services done here- hair, facials, massage, and waxing. I have never been disappointed.

Worst

I have been going to this spa on and off for a couple of years and have always been happy. The place is begining to look a little run down but the employees have always been great...

Not worth the money!! 12/29/2006

I moved to Baltimore about a year ago and was told that this salon was the salon to go to in White Marsh. Gave it a couple tries but it did not exceed my expectations. Customer service was poor at the front desk, the stylist was always running late and not too friendly, enviornment was crowded, etc. I did give the place a couple of tries, telling myself it was going to get better, but never did. Come to find out from my new stylist that I had rings around my head from a poor color job. I think the only thing this salon has going for it is the products they sell. You can do better elswhere and the attitide is poor! 12/11/2006

I was excited to have a facial at Spa on the Avenue and was dissapointed by the general attitude of the whole place and staff. I heard a manager or senior employee scold a staff member almost right in front of me, another staff member complained that there wasn't laundry done for all the clients. The staff seemed miserable and not upbeat and positive like a spa staff should be. My experience of the facial was below average service. I am a licensed esthetician and have instructed esthetics school, so I feel like my review is fair. Personally, for the price, I could have gone somwhere else and had a better facial. Pros: It is a nice place. Cons: The spa staff seems miserable and the service was not so great! more

My girlfriend has had issues with finding a stylist that would take care of her hair and have it look like something when she leaves the salon. She has visited Spa on the Avenue and on each occasion her stylist, Anthony has exceeded her expectations. Her last visit he wasn't feeling well and even then. Gave her exceptional service. Im goin to make sure she continues to go to him. She has never looked better and I can see the difference not only in her hair but in her attitude. Needless to say I am a very happy man. My girlfriend is very pleased with his expertise and so am I. more

LOVE Spa on the Avenue and Spa in the Valley 2/14/2006

I have been a loyal client of the Salon By Debbie Spas since Debbie's only location was downtown Baltimore...never mind how long ago that was! :) The absolute BEST massages from Mary Spinoso, facials from Kristin Floyd...each visit is relaxing and enjoyable. The staff remembers the little things that make a client feel like they are the only client being taken care of that particular day. I HIGHLY recommend both Spas and look forward to my next visit. Red Rose Facial 1/24/2006

This was the best facial that I have ever had!!! Although I have had probably 5-6 facials over the years, this was the best! Deborah was a professional and highly skilled. I would recommend this to anyone that has never had a facial and also to anyone that has but would like to try a new place! 4 stars Pros: value, quiet environment, profesional staff Cons: slightly pricy more

The Best Massage Ive Ever Had 9/24/2005

I recieved the best massage I have ever had by scott. At first i was aprehensive about have a male perform my massage, but after meeting with scott he assured me that there was nothing to worry about. I took his word and went on with the massage it was unbelievable i felt great for at least a month. I have had other massages and was lucky if they lasted a week. I reccomend this spa and technician to anyone who is looking for a wonderful place to relax and get the best massage of their life. Great Service 9/1/2005

Hello there! I am new to the area and came in for a facial with 'Jill'. Not only was her facial awesome, my skin looked great! This was the first time I have had so many compliments on my skin since Jill took over my skin care and she does great eyebrows. Her energy and the energy of this whole place is GREAT! Go see Jill for a WONDERFUL facial! and get your brows done too! Pros: good parking, good ambiance, great staff more

Spa experience 6/6/2005

I began getting brow wax services from Kerri; now part owner. She was the BEST at her craft I have ever experienced, and she gave me the best looking brows my face has ever seen. Ive been a loyal customer ever since. Only on rare occasions have I had to wait more than 15 minutes to be seen from my scheduled time. I recently received hair services from stylist Anthony, specializing in ""ethnic"" hair. He knows hair! He was very gentle and extremely mindful of my hairs special needs; while keeping my personal requests in mind. And though our time ran well over closing, he refused to take short cuts and was dedicated to making my hair looks its best. Overall, my experiences have been pleasant and I tell EVERYONE to go there at least once. I will NEVER go any place else! I have had several treatments done here and have had a wonderful experience every time!! Mary gives an amazing massage, Rebecca a fab facial, Tammy a clean and neat pedicure and manicure!!
