South Side Mall

Tryed the viewing of Harry Potter this weekend. My experience was not that great . The movie kept stopping and starting and the sound went off several times. This made for a very unpleasurable experience including no air conditioning very uncomfortable. Cinema seats were nice and it was clean. more

Funny southside mall inproved? very funny...me, my family, and my friends all have worked there and have never got enough hours. not only that we need more stores. we had some new ones here while back but it is so desert up there that they had to go out of business. i can tell u how they need to improve they need to get more things for teenagers and young adults also more clothing stores and food places. if you haven't noticed logan is starting to take over and i dont want to see that happen so plz get something new soon. But seriously the teens are were most of the money comes from if u think of it and there is almost nothing left up there at the mall. i myself might go just to the movies which i must admit has improved but need better seats. more

Southside Mall has improved by leaps and bounds over the last few years due to new ownership. What had been a poorly maintained entity is now a very nice atmosphere for shopping, dining and watching movies. With all but one anchor store slots now occupied (Peebles, Magic Mart, Sears, Rooms By Design) and numerous shops that you would find in larger malls it is very good for the area. The only downside is that it is still a hangout on the weekends for kids who need something to do other than pack the mall. more

Very nice indoor mall for such a small town. The anchor stores are Peebles, Dawahares, Sears, Magic Mart, & a furniture store. Other stores include Claires, Bath & Body Works, Regis, Hibbet Sports, GNC, Taylor's Jewelery, Samuels Jewelers, Shoe Show, some baby store, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Amy's Candles, Reed's Home Decor, Radio Shack, Shoe Sensation, Underground Attitude; etc. Restaurants are mainly fast food (McDonald's, Arbys, Captain D's, Quizno's; a steakhouse and a hot dog shop and a coffee shop. There is a movie theatre with 5 screens that is newly remodeled. All-in-all a nice place to shop. Of course it cannot compete with malls in larger towns but overall a pleasant shopping experience. My only complaint is that the outside of the mall (exterior) is in bad need of a good cleaning and the mall sign needs painted. good location (wal mart, food city & hardees) are across the street. There isn't many stores in this mall but what is there is very nice. The Bath and Body works Taylors Jewerly and Dawahares is a few of the nice store in this small mall. If you aren't wanting the crowed hussle and bussle of a large mall then this mall is for you! more
