Sonoran Medical Imaging

I took my orders for MRI in to the Sonoran Imaging office and the receptionist had me write my phone and cell number on it, then photocopied it and also front and back of my insurance card. Said they would get authorization and call me. One week later, having heard nothing, I called. The gal who handles authorizations "had stepped out of her office for a moment". They would have her call me back. At the end of the day, I called again, having heard nothing. The gal I spoke with was sympathic but could not find the orders. Now said the gal who does authorizations "was not in that day", not just "out of her office for a moment", but NOT IN THAT DAY! So she put me on hold and she and others spent time looking for them. She came back and said they didn't find them, but if I cared to wait, as soon as the gals who were "out to lunch" were back, maybe they could find them. I declined. She was having my doctor's office fax in the orders. I waited until late in the day the next day, and still hearing nothing, took my original orders back to the doctors' office and had them call to get my appointment. They AGAIN claimed they did not have any orders! But they worked with my doctor's office and got me an appointment - - for 2 weeks after the original order was written which I hand-delivered to them in the beginning! Incredible bungling and poor service. more

I thought the location and office staff were fantastic with the exception of the loud mouthed man that I assuemed to be the manager. He was running all around talking on a headseat (cell phone?) and barking orders to the poor girls at the front desk. I could have done without that nonsense. The technologist was a very sweet girl who you could tell knew exactly what she was doing. When I left, the girls up front both said bye and have a nice day. more

These guys work like a machine. I was treated kindly, but briskly. The wait wasn't too bad and the parking was easy. It wasn't clear how you signed in. Results were fast. Waiting room was clean. Plenty of seating. The staff seemed to know their stuff. There were a lot of people available to ask your questions to. They all seemed pleasant. more

Nothing exceptional but nothing wrong with this x-ray facility. The people were okay but not exceptionally friendly. They ran me through for tests with quick directions and little eye contact. I can't complain about the service because the tests were run and everything seemed to be fine in terms of performance. But they are nothing memorable. more
