Smiple out of this world nothing should be ths GREAT Pros: Host, Chef, Food everthing Cons: nothing, nothing, nothing
All reviews seem positive
The SceneWith only six tables and one nightly seating at 7pm, this quaint country restaurant feels more like a private home or inn than a popular destination for foodies. Upon arrival, guests are ushered into a cozy dining room softened by candlelight and escorted to carved-wood tables adorned with fresh flower arrangements. The gowned, dignified hostess is both formal and friendly, like an aunt hosting a family reunion. The Food The chef's creations tend to be a mix of continental and French. The prix-fixe menu ($70) includes six courses--ranging from fresh game and glazed duck to tossed salads to your choice of meat or grilled fish--all served on a shiny silver tray. The dessert menu varies, but there seems to always be something to satisfy. Champagne, wine and coffee accompany the food.
