Needed to buy a gun and thought I check out the ego maniacs and morons working there. Even though I didn't find anyone like that working there, what I did find was very knowledgeable people that knew much more than I about guns. Bought a used Sig Sauer P232, which was exactly what I wanted to take my concealed carry test next weekend. It was a good price and painless going through the red tape. Walked out with my first pistol a very happy with dealing with the people at Shooter's Supply Shop. Thanks Guys! more

I've been looking to buy an AR-15 for some time now. I check out Shooter's Supply first as I bought my last two Glock's from them. I don't know much about handguns outside the Glock world and I know nothing about rifles. The guys at S.S. took the time to show me their inventory, explain the different parts of the rifle and give me a quick education on how the rifle operates. I cannot say the same thing about the three other shops that I visited before making my decision. Again, it comes down to customer service with me. I'm never looking for the best price. I'm always looking for the best value and experience. The guys at S.S. even told me that I could return on the weekend and they'd show me the ins and outs of MY rifle. Why do I even bother shopping anywhere else? more

They beat their competitor's price and the service was spectacular which as a first time gun buyer quelled the butterflies and made me more at ease with my decision and purchase. more

A guy I work with told me about this place. He said they had the best prices around. He was right not only did they have the best prices around they were very knowledgable and very helpful. I bought a handgun from them last week as soon as I walked in they asked what I was looking for. All the paperwork and the background check was done in a very timely manner. Here is the best part I had to use my drivers registration because I recently moved. I unknowingly left my documents there. I received the documents in the mail from them a couple of days later. I couldnt believe it. You cant put a price on service like that. I will be going back there for all my shooting related items. Thank YOU Shooters Supply more

...maybe I caught them on a bad day. I was the only customer in the store, it was 4:15 pm Sat. 2-12-11.....looking at some holsters for about 5 min.........no one talked to me or asked if i needed help....one of the employees dropped 4 F bombs in about 90 seconds....that wasn't a big deal to me....but when he asked his male co-worker if he was having ""relations"" with his best friend....i figured it was time to go....he didn't say ""relations""....he asked his male co-worker if he was ""butt f*cking Mike""....WTF?....who does that?.....i drove 20 miles to the store b/c i had a good experience at a gun show 2 years ago......first and last time at SS more

I cannot remember the number of guns I bought there over the years. However, a year or so ago I went in to buy an AR-15. No one approached me and the folks there were chatting with some people who were not interested in buying anything. Finally I had to interrupt because my time was limited. Well they did not have what I wanted and what they recommended. So they said they would order one for me. Would take about two weeks I was told. OK, so after a month I called they said they were still waiting. Two months a call and still waiting. Now I stopped calling and after more than a year - nothing. Don't know what happened and they never call to update me. Very disappointed as I used to love doing business there. No more. Pros: Prices Good, Service was good Cons: now disappointed more

I first spoke with a staff member at the Dayton Ohio gun show. I found their price to be very fair and they were very helpful with what I needed without the feeling that I was being pressured. Pros: Good value for the price Cons: Do not be in a hurry more

This is my first review on the site, so I will try to convey my thought on the store. Loveland Shooter Supply is a great little shop. I have visited there a few times. It is about 30 minutes from my home, but the times I have been there I felt like I could trust the staff. I went there looking to buy a small pistol for my CCW because my current revolver/holster combo was not really working for me. They talked me out of spending $350 and into buying a $30 holster. The guy that worked there (could have been an owner) was very knowledgeable and very friendly. When a SALESMAN ends up forfeiting $300+ to make sure that the customer gets what they really need, well, that just makes me trust them that much more. Prices are good also, about 5-10% cheaper on their handguns. Planning a drive there in the next couple of days actually. Pros: Great staff, good prices. Cons: A little hard to find if you are not familiar with the area. more

Shooters Supply is one of the best shops I have been in. The staff is highly competent REAL people. Nobody there will sell you anything they wouldn?t own themselves. I have bought from them in the past and can say they stand behind what they sell. Prices are great as well. I came in as a new shooter and was welcomed and even given almost an hour breakdown of a TON of options for what I was looking for without any high-pressure sales. Pros: Great prices, friendly and knowledgeable staff Cons: No valet parking. more

Loveland's Shooters Supply Shop Inc. Is one of the best overall gunshops in the Tri-state area. You could go to a gun show or Aim surplus and get it cheaper. You will find however the customer service you will receive at shooter's supply makes them well worth the price difference. The staff is knowledgeable, and if they don't know something related to a firearm they can find out. The prices are competitive with anything you will see at a Gun show the exception being long rifles, however the difference is negligible when you consider the quality of the customer service. The polar opposite of Shooters Supply shop is Target World. Target World is an indoor range in Sharonville run by a largely indifferent staff that treats you like their doing you a favor by selling you a firearm. Shooter's supply has been a mainstay in Loveland for a number of years mainly because of the aforementioned customer service and affordable prices. Pros: Helpful Staff, Good Prices, Difficult to find location if your not familar with Loveland. Cons: They don't have an indoor range, the long rifle prices are a little on the high side. more

Shooters has great prices on firearms and even better customer service, I have been going there for over 9 years to make purchases and transfer firearms to people in other states. Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always helpful. more
