I have been a long standing customer of Sensible Shoe. Their shoes have been on my feet since I was in grade school. Never have I had any problems with their customer service, selection, or store policies. That was until I asked them to stand behind their word. Recently, I bought a $270 pair of work boots (the second pair I have purchased from I them in 3 years). I was told at the time of purchase that if I had any problems within the next year to bring them back. Within 3 months my boots lost their ability to keep out water. Expecting no problems I brought them back to Sensible only to be told that my work boots "were to dirty to send back to the manufacturer". That if didn't somehow clean my work boots I wouldn't get "full credit" for them. Come to find out that all is well at Sensible Shoe until you need them to help you out. I recommend finding a honest establishment that isn't filled with deceitful shoe salesman whose sole interest is to take your money.
