Scrapbook Hideaway

This store has a lot of different things to look at. They have a really nice Disney section (not as much as other stores I've seen though) and some really beautiful religious themed papers and supplies. They also had some Nascar stuff to choose from. Their paper assortment was ok but not fantastic. It is pricey but most scrapbook stores are. I found some nice headers on clearance when I visited there. The girl working there was nice -they take your name and address and send you mailing about their events like scrapbooking classes and such and sales. The location is good on Boulevard in Col. Heights but it is hard to find if you don't know where it is hidden behind the old IGA and Long John Silver's. more

First off, I don't scrapbook. I swap decos and lyrix, which are mini-scrapbook like booklets that pen-pals make, decorate, and swap around the world. But because each signer decorates a page before passing the deco/lyrix on, I use a lot of craft supplies to sign in the swap books I get. Scrapbook Hideaway has a dizzying selection of ... well, of everything a scrapbooker or crafter could possibly want! They have a wide selection of scrapbook papers (sold individually), hundreds of neat stickers, alphabet sticker sets, cropping tools, ribbons, adhesives, kits, etc. etc. etc. I spent way too much money in the store on my first visit, and came away with a ton of cool stuff. They also offer classes, from beginner to advanced, and upcoming projects are posted so that you can see what the class will make before you decide to sign up. When no classes are being held, you can use the tables and cropping tools they have for your own projects for free. more
