San Lorenzo Veterinary Hospital 4/30/2006

San Lorenzo Veterinary Hospital is a extremely friendly vet hospital. When you are curious about something that your animal may have or ask some advice from them they answer you with honesty which i really admire about this palce. The hospital is clean and the staff is friendly the only downfall is the price which is pretty expensive but that is like that everywhere. more

Have a sick loved family pet? i have the place for you 8/11/2005

If you ever have a sick family pet take them to the SLZ Vet, the doctor is very nice. its a decent size office with seperated sides so the dogs and cats are seperated. The nurses are all very nice and kind and know what they are talking about. They will take care of you and your pet. If you dont have $600 to spend on a vet bill i recommend going here, its the best place you can go. more

Wonderful local vet who has been in practice for years 8/11/2005

A couple of months ago our dog started to become very ill. We took him to the San Lorenzo Veterinary Hospital, where the Vet looked him over, ran a few tests, and was able to determine that he had cancer. The Vet offered us a number of options, and was very clear and up front about the pros and cons of each. He was kind and compassionate in answering our questions. A month later we decided it was best to put our dog to sleep. We returned there, and the receptionist gently confirmed with us, multiple times, that this was really the decision we wanted to make. She wanted to protect us from making a choice we might regret -- though we had thought it through carefully. Once in the room, the Vet checked our dog out again, and told us that he felt we were making the right choice. He said if he felt it wasn't the right one, he would have told us that. He gave our dog some treats before administering the shot. After putting him to sleep, the Vet wrapped our dog in a blanket, and allowed us to spend a half of an hour in the room with him, alone, so we could say our goodbyes. The receptionist checked in with us after a while, but she didn't seem to be rushing us out. She told us to take our time. Despite it being a very painful experience, the staff was high compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. We couldn't have asked for more. The facilities itself are clean. They have two separate entrances for dogs and cats. In previous experiences with their clinic, we have always been satisfied with their services, and would gladly recommend them to anyone. more
