Worst Dr. Ever. Ive been seeing Dr Baraka for a few years now only because he is close by - i only ever went to him if it was "Urgent"- He didnt listen to anything I say, Has misdiagnosed me several times, gives me pills i dont need, didnt wash his hands after he was in another patients room (u can hear thru the walls- he had foot fungus)- gives half ass exams and charges your insurance company the full amount-He is very quick to diagnose, give you a poor script and get you out of his office. Try spelling my name right too if you would! My last visit, He chastized me for calling a specialist and then REFUSED to give me a referral to see him. He is arrogant and has no respect for peoples time- wait, wait wait-- last week -After he perscribed me an antibiotic that I was resitant too, I ended up taking myself to the ER because of the pain and worsening infection- The Dr at the Hosp gave me 3 scripts - one to clear the infection and 2 for pain. WHY did it take me having to go to the ER to get some relief??? Why didnt he perscribe the right stuff- Hes an A$$!- i give him zero stars more

Dr. Baraka would not see me in a timely maner, and also misdiagnosticed me two different times. The second time he tryed to sent me home from the hosptial with an untreated infection. I ask for a second opinion form a specialist. The specialist over turned Dr. Baraka's diagnostic. My face looked like a basketball, and he said I looked fine. I will not go to this doctor ever again more

Seen him for a year. Never really did anything. Ok to talk to if he has the time but usually just does a 5 minute check and charges your insurance $80. I found a new doctor. more

My family and I have been going to Dr.Baraka for some time now. He knows what he is doing. He is awesome when I am hospitalized, his staff is wonderful, If you are having a problem, they get you in immediately, within 10 minutes. We love him. more

I have been going to see this doctor since I was a child, I am now 24 yrs old. He is funny, nice and likable. My parents also went to Dr. Baraka. However, they stopped going to him about 4 yrs ago. I couldn't understand why. Now I know. I went to see him about recommending some one to talk to about stress issues, I have been having. He told me I am depressed. But I AM NOT DEPRESSED. I just wanted someone who I could vent to. He gave me a for an anti-depressant, and never recommended anyone for me to talk to. He said I need the pills. He told me there were no side effects, when I google the name of the pill, all I could see were side effects after side effects. So basically he wouldn't listen to me, and lied to me about a prescription. Needless to say, I threw the pills out when I got home, and I am doing great without them. My mom told me she stopped going to him for a mis diagnosis, and wouldn't listen to her when she was telling him the symptoms she was having. Same reason I will not be back to see him. Please do not trust this guy with your children just because he has a good personality. more

I am not the type of person that standardly LIKES a doctor and usually avoid going to them as much as I can.... but I have to tell you, THIS DOCTOR is EXCELLENT! He is great with me (and I am not an "easy" person to get along with :-) ) and fantastic with the children. He takes his time, listens to what you have to say, and NEVER makes you feel like you are "keeping" him from something else. I sincerely believe that he truly CARES about his patients which I find to be something unique and hard to find these days! I would HIGHLY recommend him!!!! more

We have taken our children to Dr Baraka for several years now. He is wonderful with the children. He teases them to put them at ease before he begins his exam. He will answer all the questions your child will ask him. Our kids will never want to go to another doctor again. He tries to give out samples versus writing a prescription to save you money. more
