Salon Accente

My wife and I are looking for a new salon, and today we tried out Salon Accente. We were ""walk ins"" and were given appointments about an hour after our arrival time. The stylist who cut my hair did a pretty good job until she turned the clippers on... She cut the back of my neck in several areas and got a little bit of my ear. Throughout the appointment my stylist exchanged negative banter with the receptionist and told me a story about herself that indicated she practiced cutting hair without credentials. My wife was not pleased with the result of her time in the chair. She provided her stylist with a picture of herself that she wanted the stylist to recreate - didn't even come close! We will continue our search for a new salon, and I'm not sure that I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for professionalism in their stylist. This salon might be an excellent candidate for Tabatha's Salon Takeover. more

I was looking for a change I to felt old out of date and frumpy and looked on line for reviews for local salons in Deer Park and found myself leaning towards Cheryll with Salon Accente. The reviews about her were RIGHT ON, she did exactly what everyone was raving about. She was very polite, attentive, and looked at me while talking to me. As we talked about about my life and my daily routine, she added her opinion about my hair about what she felt would suit me and I agreed, she got me. Let me tell you I sat back closed my eyes and let her work. When I was done and she turned me around, I was astonished, I felt beautiful and I loved my hair, and I it was full and shiny, and exactly what I was wanting. I am so please with my hair and Cheryll's work and she was absolutely what I was looking for. Thank You Cheryll, for picking me up and dusting me off, not only did you change my hair you changed my perception of myself. I am truly grateful for everything you did. Bless You. more
