The Safety Net Mentor Program is a volunteer program for local citizens to get involved with local children. They are a division of the State of Utah Department of Human Services. They operate on donations, fund-raisers and mini-grants. If you ever wanted to make a difference in someone's life this is the chance you've been waiting for. There are plenty of young boys and girls in the area who have been living a hard or troubled life. All it takes is one visit a week with the child outside of their home to become their mentor and friend. You'll make a huge difference and possibly help steer the child's life in the right direction.
