Sabatiello's Italian Grill

What a lousy experience!!! Probably one of the worst customer services I've ever seen. Be careful not to let the waiter add the tip he wants on your bill. What next, sign it for me??? Very unprofessional management, who have no problem lying to you for a couple of bucks. Ah, and expensive food for the very-average quality. Let me start off by saying that as a restaurant owner I am very particular about where I eat. With that said, I will be a frequent customer at Sabatiello's. The food is wonderful ranging from well known to creative dishes. Starting with a wonderful bottle of wine and appetizers and ending with desert, I couldn't have made the meal any better, and to top that, the bill was very reasonable. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and in my opinion would be great for a first date, anniversary, party, or just a night on the town. The staff is very polite and the owner even came by to check on us. After dinner I hung around and listened to the DJ and even got up and danced a little with my husband. I have had just about every item on the menu and I have never had a bad meal here! The decor of the restaurant is very sophisticated yet cozy, it reminds me of spending a night in the city- without the drive or the parking hassles. This is a great place for a first date (downstairs) or a night of dancing (upstairs) The desserts are to die for and I found the service quite good the staff quite knowledgeable regarding the specials and the wine pairings. TRY IT! more

I just read the other review on Sabatiello's. I had a similar experience there as well. The "disco" upstairs seemed to take precedence over my husband and I enjoying our meal. The management/owners seem anti-customer service and down right rude. I have never been to a restaurant where the customer gets yelled at. For a new restaurant, this is not the way to treat paying customers. We were basically told that if we didn't like the way they ran the restaurant, we could leave, so we did. Needless to say we will never dine there again! Very disappointing. Cons: loud, rude, poor service more

I have never experienced such poor customer service at a restaurant in my life. The management and the owner, of all people, were rude and obnoxious to my party after booking a room that was too small for our guests. They yelled at us after we asked them to turn the music down for 10 minutes during a speech and kicked us out of the restaurant the second our 'time slot' was up. They single handedly ruined our rehersal dinner. I would NEVER recommend booking Sabatiello's for a private party. Besides the terrible service, the food was tastless. BIG THUMBS DOWN!!!
