Ruby's Pizza Pasta & Subs

Awesome mom and pop place. Perfect if you are tired of big chain pizzas. Great pizzas and pastas. I've been going here for quite some time and have just now decided to post a review. more

A few times I've ordered from this place. I mean... we live right down the street. We have had more than two bad experiences with this place, but hey- little business need it more than dominoes would, so we gave them another chance.\r \r Two orders of Penne Ala Vodka. Now, anyone who has had this dish should know the sauces color and taste. Right now, I think I just ate milky grease with noodles in it and got charged 30 dollars for it. This is the last time we are ordering from this place.\r \r The LAST time, we ordered an extra large Calzone and got a small. The manager was not only rude, but did not stay true to his offer for a free meal the next time we order (which was also... a bad experience).\r \r Their Day time works must be WONDERFUL if thats when ppl experience "good service and food" but whoever is cooking? GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN. The pizza is awesome. This is the last good pizza in Deerfield. Worth the trip - if you live in the area, they deliver. Pros: Great Pizza Cons: Service is questionable. Depends on what night you go there. more

This was the worst experence of my life. I went there tonight with another couple. We waited 15 min to get a salad. After 30 more min the food came out and the only ones that got served was the other couple. When over earing the waitress she asked the cooks and they said they never made it. Not only did they not tell us we had to ask . They never offered us anything or said sorry. Also when they brought the couple we where with the bill they brought us a bill for the two soda we where drinking. When I tooked the bill to the manager and said do I have to pay for the soda's he crumpled the bill in front of me and turned his back. No one should ever go to this place what a nightmare. Cons: they stink at service more
