Round Lake Animal Hospital

I have been coming here since the day I got my puppy, Renzo. No matter how much of an over-protective and nervous Mom I am, the staff is friendly, patient, and helpful. Dr. Hafeez is the nicest person I've met in Round lake area, and I am so lucky he cares for my pup. he is always excited to see him and genuinely cares for him. He listens to me worry about the smallest things and assures me that everything is ok.\r \r Dr. Hafeez is smart and caring. I trust him and the entire staff completely with Renzo. If you have a dog in Round lake area you should bring them to One Love. I always feel like I'm the only family they treat. more

Dr. Hafeez and the entire staff at this facility give the best of care and compassion not only to the pet but to the owner as well. They cared for (and boarded at times) my cat, Joe, a stray who ""found"" me at a difficult time and became a special part of my life. Unfortunately, last fall he became seriously ill with an unsurvivable disease. Dr. Hafeez was so gentle in his handeling of both Joe and myself. It has taken all this time for me to even consider another cat, but I did go to Save-A-Pet last w/e and have bonded with a 10 yr old cat who needed someone to love him again; Tobias was obviously well loved by his former Human....his personality didn't really shine before - too much trauma and change???? His former owner couldn't keep him for health reasons....I can only speculate because it must have been devestaqting to have to give up such a treasure! So today we are off to Round Lake Animal Hospital and start our new relationship with my old friends! :-) more

Have no clue what Rachel M. talking about (below). Round Lake is the best animal hospital I ever been to. Dr Hafeez is very honest and down to earth person. I took my dog, Tyson, and he take care of it like his own dog. I am very surprised and would highly recommend the doctor as well as hospital. I will highly recommend Round Lake and Dr Hafeez. more

I have been taking my puppy to Dr Hafeez for the last 10 months and I am here to say that Dr Hafeez has always taken great care of my Cassie. From a torn ligament to a false pregnancy, and surgery, Cassie's treatment has been excellent. I find Dr Hafeez to be personable and caring and extremely pet friendly. More important Cassie likes the doc and his friendly staff. Every time I call, they always make time for me and my puppy and for that I am grateful. \r \r \r In 2009 I wrote the above review about Dr Hafeez, and his staff in regards, to the outstanding care he has always provided my puggle named Cassie. Four years later I am back to reaffirm that the same outstanding care, compassion, and dedication that Doc provides has never waivered. From liver disease, to pancreatitis, and sensitive stomach issues, Dr Hafeez brought Cassie through all of these health issues, with great success. I not only respect and appreciate Dr Hafeez as a Veterinarian, but I can also attest to the fact that he is a genuine and very caring person as well. Without question, Dr Hafeez is still the best. more

Listen to Shelby10 down below...she is right! If I didn't switch vets when I did I would have one dog dead & the other one blind! He is known to give dogs antibiotics over & over instead of ever fixing the problem at hand. He also has diagnosed all 3 of my animals incorrectly. (very long story short) Steer clear of Dr. Hazeff he will act like he is compassionate, but he does not care about your pet. The only thing I haven't figured out for sure is if he's making all these mistakes because he's this heartless or this ignorant of a vet. Not sure how he passed school though if he is. I feel so bad for Shelby that her baby is dead bc of this monster, I thank God every day I figured out to switch vets just in time! I pray these reviews will help others before something happens to their animals who are family to us. more

I took Buddy to this Vet at Roundlake Animal Hospital because he was showing signs of lameness and was always in pain Buddy is 6 years old German Sheppard and a very loving dog this Vet Dr Hafeez at Round Lake Animal Hospital diagnosed buddy with hip dysplasia and because of that he had lameness and arthritis they gave him medications and because of their effort Buddy has no problem playing and going for walks. more

that is the best place , i ever seen . Dr. Hafeez is the best vet I ever have in my life. He is not greedy like other quakes. he saved a life of pather (my little buddy). Pather is my life .I could not even imagine if something happened to him , how could I live. on Sunday , 6:00a.m Pather was vomiting like a motor . I called Dr. Hafeez, he was definitely sleeping. He came to hospital in really casual dress, Ireally liked that how someone could leave like that for the life of animal. god bless him , he is great. it was needle stuck on the back of tongue . He gave anesthesia in front of me and removed needle. pather was under anesthetic . I told him that If he would not mind , Iliked to wait . he was doing his things as soon as Pather came out a little bit , I took him home . Pather was back to normal in couple hrs . I loved this place. I will not go anywhere even I will move 4 hrs away more

Max is a fun loving dog and since past few months I noticed him walking slow, he stopped playing and was always laying down and was always in pain so I took him to Round Lake Animal Hospital and they diagnosed him with Osteoarthritis and put him on medication and in a short period of time Max is back to his normal being and the Vet there Dr Hafeez is very caring and professional. He earned my business forever I will never go to any other place. Thank you guys. more

I would like say that Round Lake Animal hospital is the worst place to take your pet. unless you want your pet to die. My dog was diagnosed with pyometra and she was put on antibiotics for a week and a half and scheduled for surgery on oct 31, well i found my dog dead on the morning of oct 29 2011 today, When i took her to the emergency clinic they told with pyometra (uterus infection) surgery is requied immediately and shouldnt of been post poned for a week 1/2 later. i was trying to get a hold of the dr with the so called non emergency phone # which has no voice mail box set up and no one answered i had to leave a voice mail on the regular line and hope that someone would check it before monday. well tcome to find out he dr was out of town all week so that is exactly why he scheduled it for that day because if the infection that she had was so severe why didnt he tell me to go else where because it needed to be done immediately and he couldnt do it til a week and half later. the way i see it they dont care about the pets and are only concerned about the money. more

Dr Hafeez IS SO KIND, WONDERFUL WITH ALL MY PETS EVEN HAS REASONABLE RATES. HIS STAFF IS SUPERB, AND JUST AS CARING. IT TOOK ME SEVERALVETS VISITS TO FIND A VET THAT MET ALL REQUIREMENTS, AND I AM THANKFUL HE HAS HELPED MY DOGS GET BETTER (AND ALSO HELPED OUR MILLIE TO MOVE ON, AS WE LOST HER TO CANCER) iN FACT HE ALLOWED MY FAMILY TO SIT WITH HER AND CRY FOR AS LONG AS WE NEEDED. HE IS SO FANTASTIC THAT OUR OTHER DOGS/CAT DON'T MIND GOING THERE EITHER...AND THAT IS A MIRACLE! more

Dr HAfeez is the most knowledgeable and caring vet I ever seen . He is thorough and very skillful , He is really a good surgeon, He saved a lot of animals which I have seen in front of me , I highly reommend him as a routine work and speacilized surgeries more

We love this vet. Prices are cheap, he is thorough (so yes, if you're like the lady below who is going to bitch if he requires the animal receive all its required shots instead of just a few, go to some other hack), it's easy to get in with a couple hours notice. If you're so much of a racist that you don't want to take your pet to someone with an Indian accent, you have worse problems than whatever's going on with your pet. My two cats have been here a total of 4 times and we haven't had any problems at all. Also, I REALLY can't imagine this vet allowing boarded animals to become sick or injured. Today we even saw a boarded chihuahua getting to hang out with the staff in the front office. If I were going to board my cats anywhere (and I wouldn't), this would be the place. I been going for past couple of years and I never had any complaints. Even if there is any issue, Doctor will take care of it personally and go extra step for help. Pros: Doctor, Hospital, Location, Caring, Staff more

This clinic is so unbelievable, charged so much and with the doctors heavy accent, you cudn't even understand 1/2 of what he's telling you. OK we went there just to have our puppy's 2 remaining shots (as what the breeder told me, she only needs 2 shots). Here is what the Dr. told me, any breeder can claim the puppy that we bought have all the shots she needs, just to be on the safe side, she has to have deworming ($12), Distemper ($31), Bordetela ($26), and the Tri-heart plus ($48, which you get online for half the price) and I ended up paying $132. When I called to inquire before I made an appmnt. the lady I spoke with said the shots that I needed will only cost me $30 + $15 office visit. This is by far the most expensive, misleading, very commercialized clinic I have ever encountered. I shud have listened to my friend and went to the petco revolving clinics. Coz I thought I was giving my pet the best, this is what I got, they are worst than con artist. BEWARE !!! MAKE SURE YOU ONLY GET THE SERVICE YOU MADE AN APPOINMENT FOR - BCOZ THEY WILL REALLY TALK YOU INTO A LOT OF STUFF AND MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT THE DOCTOR IS TELLING YOU OR SELLING TO YOU !!!!! more

I went to this doctor to take my 2 small pets for a routine check-up and ended up with a $400 bill. the day before I called to make an appointment and the girl that answered the phone told me that the visit would only be $28, but if the dogs needed shots, I would get a discount and only pay $15. Pros: 3min from my home, office smelled good Cons: Dr. not animal friendly, Falsely informed about prices, felt uncomfortable being in an empty office. more

i boarded my 5 month old show pup. Cons: Abused animals left in their care more
