Always Excellent 7/28/2011

Our Dine in experience is always excellant. We have limited time for an occassional lunch and service is always quick so we can get in and out. The only problem we have is when we order take-out. On several occassions we have gotten back to the office only to find out we have no utinsils. Soup is especially hard to eat without a spoon. more

I WAS ONE OF THE ORIGINAL WAIT STAFF FOR THE ROSIES ON MCCORD. I WATCHED THE ORIGINAL ROSIES BEING BUILT AND STILL FEEL THE SAME JOY AND EXCITEMENT NOW WHEN I BUY THE HOT MAMMA BREAD HERE IN DAYTON OHIO WERE I NOW LIVE. EVEN THOUGH IT HAS BEEN SEVERAL YEARS SINCE I HAVE ACTUALLY BEEN ABLE TO EAT INSIDE AN ACTUAL RESTAURANT, I KNOW I CAN TAKE ROSIES HOME WITH ME. i ADMIRE THE AMBITION AND LOVE THAT THE BORONE FAMILY HAVE FOR THEIR PATRONS AND FOR THEIR STAFF. AS FOR THE NEW ROSIE'S ITALLIAN GRILLE, I LOOK FORWARD TO THE DAY WHEN I CAN ACTUALLY VISIT THE RESTAURANT. I THINK IT IS SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL. What a Delight to dine at Rosie’s Italian Grille with friends and family. The wait staff was extremely helpful and pleasant in serving our groups. There was even a surprise birthday greeting! We love Rosie's food & good sevice but don't get there as often as we'd like. Would come out more often if there were incentives to help stretch the dining $ - i.e., Entertainment Book, restaurant.com & Groupon participation. LOVE the smoked fish dip! more

The food remains great 2/15/2011

Rosie's was a great place to go when I was a teen, back when they were on Heatherdowns. Their new location on McCord is immaculate, with great decor. A little dark in the later evening, but still romantic. Food is still great, with an expanded menu. The price has increased some, to my disappointment, decreasing the frequency I can visit. Despite this, I will still come back because the food is too good. more

Great food, oh so prices. 2/9/2011

We love going to Rosie's during the week when they have 1/2 price appetizers and gourmet pizzas (served at the bar only). Of course, no one can pass up the hot mama bread, and I love their gourmet pizzas. During the week, the two of us can eat dinner for less than $15. Otherwise, they do have some great italian dishes, and I've have some great fresh fish dishes as well. We tend to think the entrees are a bit overpriced though. more
