Now that it is in its new location, Romas is better than ever! With more parking, more seating, and better service...Romas is the best its ever been. The people are very nice the food is very very good and the atmosphere is great. so for anyone who has never had Romas come on in. This is the best pizza I have ever had. It is better than pizza I've had in Chicago and New York. Their pasta and salads are good too. It is a little crowded but they are moving to a new location soon. Pros: Best Pizza, Good Pasta, Good Salad Cons: Crowded more

If you want a great pizza from a really good family owned and operated business Romas is the place to go. The service is excellent, the pizza is even better, and the wait and amount of work you have to do is a bare minimum. And to boot the owners are two brothers who love to serve the public. 20 minutes 8/15/2002

I started eating at Romas when it first opened, loved it then and still love it, even though I live 980 miles away. When we are home we always go to Romas. When we order pizza where we now live, we always say I wish it was Romas. Pros: inexpensive, great food, good people more

The quality of the pizza is without question, it is sought from far and wide. Genuinely the best! The topper is that the family that runs the business knows how to make the business people friendly. When you call for take out, you tell them what you want, one time, then you get the well known phrase ""twenty minutes, bye bye"". No repeating back and forth on the order, no phone number requests, no fuss and no muss. The taxes are taken from the price of the pizza (very competitively priced), so there are no dimes, nickels, or pennies to deal with! I've been eating pizza at Roma's for 13 years. Never had an order that was incorrect!!! Go figure!! more

Talk about great pizza 7/22/2002

Now if you like Imo's and Fortell's and wish you could get something a little inbetween then Roma's is where it's at! They have a great product made especially to order. No delivery but they do have take out! Such great taste! And the atmosphere is cozy and fun! more

    The Pizzo Family, originally from Sicily, Italy, Opened Roma's Pizza Palace, on Prairie St. in Bethalto on February 20th, 1973. The parlor quickly became a favorite spot specializing in our original recipe pizza from Italy. Our family history has endured it's trials, including: armed robbery, burglary & a fire that destroyed our building on Prairie St., causing us to relocate to 136 W. Bethalto Blvd. To resolve parking difficulties due to our growth, we then moved to 121 E Bethalto Dr. Through it all, we still serve delicious, mouth watering pizza. Our business is not all that has grown. We are now into our 3rd generation. Mimma, Rosa, Angelo & Vincenzo. Angelo, Lin, Julian & Alexia.
