They scam you for your money, telling you that your kids are getting a good dance education. How would they know what a good dance education is, when none of their teachers have any professional training outside of what they learned at the studio? They will tell you that there is no competition around/nearby....THAT'S A LIE! I would highly suggest looking into other studios in the area. You will find that RSOD doesn't even compare to the other studios. Pros: ABSOLUTELY NONE! Cons: EVERYTHING! more

Rockford School of Dance is a fantastic dance school. This is the school where I trained. I am now a performer and have had many success because of the training I received from RSOD. Today RSOD boasts instructors with varying backgrounds and experience. Many instructors have their college degrees, and have studied dance for a number of years at RSOD as well as nationwide. Instructors range from current coaches of high school and university dance team coaches to performers from renowned Ballet companies. Guest teachers are periodically brought in to enrich students with different perspectives and help elevate the level of dancers from Rockford School of Dance. RSOD is a family environment with family values, keeping fun and learning at the top of the priority list. Awesome! Pros: EMPLOYEES ARE ALWAYS FANTASTIC!
