We had a nice meal here. Children eat free on Tuesdays. My daughter had a hamburger and she said it was good. We also love the peanuts and yummy bread they bring out before dinner. My husband had the Flat Iron steak and he said it was good, not great. Cooked the way he wanted it. I ordered the "Not Your Ordinary nachos" as my meal. This is a HUGE amount of food. I had my meal, took the rest home, and my husband and I shared it for lunch the next day. Even threw a bit away. All for only $6.49. These are homestyle tater chips with cheese, chili, lettuce, tomato, jalapenos, and sour cream. Not a lot of chili. You have to hunt for a bite with your chip. If you like a lot of chili I would suggest ordering an extra cup.
As far as service, not the best. Even though the restaurant wasn't crowded we were seated in the bar area at a booth. The bartender was our waitress. She had to fill orders for the other servers and come out from the bar to wait on tables. We had to wait quite a while for service, including trying to get our bill.
Also the manager came by while we were eating. He seemed rather strange to say the least. He also commented on my meal about how much food was there. Then he finished by saying,"But you look like you can handle it". I am a bit overweight (not obese), but I found that a hurtful comment. He wasn't the most personable, but I generally don't pay attention to managers anyway.
Overall a nice casual meal for a good price.
