I will try to make this as short as I can. This was the worst experience ever. I took a bridesmaid dress in, on a Saturday, to have 2.5 inches taken off the length - that was it. I was to have it back by that Tuesday, so three days later. My mother called me to say the dress wouldn't be ready because there was more to it than expected and they had a ton of stuff come in all at once and needed another week or two. It is now going on three weeks and I hadn't heard from the place. My sister, the bride, went in today to find out that they had cut my dress too short and instead of calling ME, which was the person paying for the dress, they instead called my mother, since she somewhat knew them and told her. They then went across the street to David's Bridal and ordered me a new dress (yet, still not calling me to tell me anything). When my sister came in to find out the status of it, they didn't wait on her right away and when she asked about it they treated her as though SHE were the one that had ruined the dress and as though it was HER fault. I am beyond disgusted with this place. I usually take my dresses to a lady who has done it out of her home for over 40 years, but didn't want to have to drive to Milford, OH - so I decided to go here since my mom hasn't had any issues there. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER! The fact that they called my mother instead of me is very shady and sneaky. My cell number was on my ticket for the dress, not my mom's. I was the one paying, therefore, I am the customer. When you own a business, mistakes do occur, however, you have to own up to them and notify the CUSTOMER what has happened, even if it means getting that person angry at the situation. The fact that they went behind my back and called my mother doesn't say much for their professionalism. The only ""redeeming quality"" I can say about them is that they did purchase me a new dress. However that style and color had been discontinued in May - so they were extremely lucky that one was still available in my size and color. There isn't much to the dress. One layer of satiny material with ""puffy"" mesh underneath to make it appear fuller. How does someone mess up taking approximately two inches off of a dress? This wasn't a difficult item to do. No beading, no lace, just the basic material that most bridesmaid dresses come in. If you are considering coming here, I strongly urge you to go elsewhere. You don't have to have fabulous customer service in this industry, but when a mistake is made, a person shouldn't be ""snotty"" with the customer when finding out the status - very unprofessional and rude. The service doesn't have to be ""top notch"", but the quality of work should be outstanding. However, you won't get either from this place. Turn back now and find somewhere else to alter your clothing. Luckily, I have my replacement dress now and am driving to Milford, as I should have done to begin with. You may not have the same luck as I did, in there being a replacement dress to use. So, choose carefully. Best of luck to you. more
