A experience at Reed's Salvage 4/21/2012

Reed's Salvage is a REAL junk yard not a part store. I personally enjoy going there. The staff consists of real people not fake salesmen. I recently revisited Reed's Salvage after moving out of state 10 years ago. I was looking for some electrical connections and to my surprise the owner let me have them FOR FREE because I had to wait 3 or 4 minutes for him to finish with a customer!! I can't recall the last time something like that happened more

Unbeatable prices, great owner/employees, Ohio's largest!! 9/20/2011

Reed's Salvage offers some of the best pricing in all of Ohio, and is one of the most functionable and largest in the nation. The owner shows pride in his company and his customers [which come from worldwide]. Definitely the place to go!! They also donate TONS of money to the town, schools, and local race tracks [they even GIVE away cars to some aspiring race car drivers and to those to partake in the local demolition derbies]. Over all is a huge asset to Grafton and all surrounding communities. more

Bad dangerous junkyard 4/20/2011

Very dangerous place to be. They practace crushing cars without draining fluids. They let the fluids run off into the creek running thru their property. Several fires over the years occur there. When they have a fire, staff runs to the front gates to lock them to keep from incurring fines. Anyone on site, ie. customers are locked inside. The owners pay employees with checks. They do not report taxes to the IRS. Atleast 1 employee death occurred onsite within the last 5 years. more
