It is not the responsibility of the provider to know your insurance plan as they all differ based upon your coverage and choices. He should have been in contact with his insurance company himself prior to his appointment to know what would have been covered or should have allowed the clinic adequate time to touch base with the insurance company per his plan to confirm coverage of services. Words can't express how much their dedication to their patients wellbeing means to me.
