I've been coming here for a little over a year now. I come every vouple of months to get my hair cut. The first time I got my hair cut here I had it cut into a short bob, and it was the first time I ever liked my hair short. In fact, I loved it. Kayla is amazing! I've also had Derek cut it, equally amazing, and he works wonders with a straightening iron. I also recently received a hot stone massage from Dennis. It was the most relaxing experience of my life. I recommend it to anyone! The service has always been exceptional from the time I walk in the door to the time I walk out. The front desk staff is friendly, they serve beverages, and they converse with you while they do your hair. I 100% recommend them. more

I have been a client at the salon since the doors opened, and have always been pleased with the service and the results. My appointments are always just right - lots of fun, very relaxing, such a nice atmosphere. Since I've been going there for my hair, I've also switched over to using a lot of the other Aveda products (make up, skin care) and couldn't be happier. The products cost a little more, but they last a long time, are mostly organic/natural/botanical and come in environmentally conscious packaging. I feel better about the extra $10 spent when I think of those things. I'm a busy working mom with two little kids, and my schedule is always crazy. I try to schedule appointments in advance but seem to always be canceling, rescheduling, moving things around. They are always kind and accommodating when I call to make or change an appointment. This is huge for me! My stylist - one of the most senior there - is amazing. My thick, curly hair is in great shape and I am able to style it in ways I never imagined thanks to Pure Natur. I also go there to get my brows waxed (DeeDee is amazing!) and I'm eager to try out a massage when I have some extra cash & free time. I recommend the salon to all my friends & family, and have purchased gift cards or lovely gifts (Aveda candles, for instance) for many occasions! I loved my eyebrow wax!! Weird huh!! Deedee gave me a hand massage and was very good to get my eyebrows just right! All for just $12. The spa was very relaxing and quite. I'm going back for a facial!! Pros: cost and service was great Cons: none more

ALL i CAN SAY IS EXCEPTIONAL IN EVER WAY!! i HAVE BEEN TO SALONS ALL OVER THE WORLD AND THIS BY FAR IS THE BEST SALON EVER!!!! THE PRICE,SERVICE, AND ATMOSPHERE ARE ABSOLUITLEY THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN. IF ANYONE EVER GIVES THIS SALON A REVIEW NOT WORTHY OF BEING EXCEPTIONAL, THEN THAT PERSON DOES NOT HAVE ANY STYLE OR IS ONE INSECURE PERSON AND NEEDS TO GET THEIR HEAD OUT OF THE CLOUDS. Pur Natur is a really swanky place and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. My hair can be difficult to work with but my stylist was wonderful and did a top notch job. Staff was exceedingly pleasant and very welcoming. While it's not exactly inexpensive, I thought the prices were reasonable for the services provided. If you want a cheap trim, go to Great Clips. If you want to be taken care of right, go to Pur Natur. Pros: products, staff, environment more

I was very impressed with this salon! The salon itself was very clean and beautiful inside. My stylist and the surrounding stylist were very professional and did an amazing job! The haircut I received is by far the best I have ever had and I will definately return! I am willing to pay the prices to have such a great haircut!! Pros: Great stylist and clean facility more

The salon is very welcoming.The service is not what I had expected.Some of the stylist lack the experience you would expect when paying the high prices.I could tell the stylist was unsure how to go about what I wanted done. The actions of other stylist was not the most professional as well.Over all the salon was beautiful but that is what what you are paying for, not the service. more

Pur Natur is a very pretty salon at a desirable location in the Shops at St. Clair Square. However, it is way overpriced for the quality of service you receive. If you go here, make sure you select a stylist with a lot of experience- ask. Some of their stylists don't have much experience, not what you'd expect at an "upscale" salon. Bad lighting too.
