I attended Punt Physiotherapy Center for physical therapy for the first time after breaking my arm in a snowboarding accident in 2009. Robert did an amazing job of helping me gain back my range of motion and flexibility after having a cast on for 2 months. With his help I was able to get back to doing things I love in no time. I have also seen Robert for back/neck pain I have had and he has done a great job treating me for these complaints as well and helping me to get back to pain free. I highly recommend you see Robert at Punt Physiotherapy if you need physical therapy for anything, he listens, is understanding and really does an amazing job at helping you get back to feeling better. more

I am highly suspicious of the posts on this site. All were created exactly 10 months ago. THAT is extremely unlikely to say the least. That fact alone makes me question the ethics of this doctor. more

Robert Punt has been a blessing! In 1995 I was in a motor vehicle accident that resulted in over six years of chronic pain. I was seen by a number of physicians, unsuccessfully, before I saw Robert Punt. Each physician wanted to give me medications. I wanted to get better, not live on drugs! I was at the end of the line. I could hardly move, even with a lot of medication. After seeing Robert once, not only did I have a substantial decrease in my symptoms, I had HOPE that I would get better. I worked hard to improve, doing all that was asked of me. Now I have regained my life and celebrate each day! Whenever I flare up my system, I go right in to see Robert and he calms the flare up down so I can keep going in my fast-paced life as a doctor. I would recommend him to anyone. I trust him completely and that can be difficult in the medical community when you are in crisis. Thank you Robert! more

Hands of a Healer,Mind of a Teacher, Heart of a Warrior 3/10/2013

Robert Punt is an exceptionally trained healer. The other reviewers have detailed some of that training so I will not go over it again. I went into his office using a cane. I have numerous problems that I had been told were due to MS and fibromyalgia. Mr. Punt's understanding of how the body works has me walking cane free, moving with much more freedom, and ready to be much more active than I had become. Because of this I am much more able to control my depression. As far as the office staff is concerned, I found them to be most helpful and very friendly. I have the deepest respect for the entire organization.\r \r it is now March of 2013 and I can say that everything that I said before still holds true. I would just like to add that I am also aware that integrity is a huge part of the clinic and Mr. Punt himself. I is difficult not to sound over zealous when you have a better quality of life than you had hoped for.\r \r Patricia Brady- BA of education, University of Puget Sound more

The highest quality of care. Robert Punt and his fantastic staff have provided me with amazing care and results. Robert's thorough knowledge of anatomy and physio-therapy is unsurpassed. His additional European training in this field of study makes him a stand-out in the Puget Sound area. After being examined and incorrectly diagnosed by numerous doctors and so-called specialists, he was the first therapist who was able to figure out what my chronic debilitating issue might be. He referred me to a wonderful specialist who was able to correct my problem. With Robert's support and after-care, I am now able to lead a normal life and enjoy sports and leisure activities that I was prevented from participating in for years. Thanks Robert!!! more

Punt Physiotherapy has been and continues to be the most sincerely run business of its kind, and it IS ONE of a kind. I receive therapy with Dr. Robert Punt. He has helped me regain and maintain the mobility in my hand after a severe injury. Dr. Punt is PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE, HONEST and has a wonderful caring manner. I recommend him highly to anyone that is in pain and truly wants help. \r The office staff is also very professional, efficient, and pleasant. I have never had any problems with appointment scheduling, last minute cancellations/re-scheduling, nor have I had any problems with billing. \r Punt Physiotherapy is by far the BEST of the BEST! more

We are very fortunate to have a world class physical therapy clinic in Silverdale. \r \r I am one of many happy patients of Physiotherapist Robert Punt. He has treated me for several different issues over the last ten years. In every case my complaint has been completely resolved.\r \r I always feel better after treatment than when I arrive. I keep a couple of PPC brochures handy to give to friends who are hurting, because I want him to be there when I need him. \r \r Once you have been treated by Robert, you will know what I mean. He is not only highly competent, you can tell he really cares about you. He takes his Hippocratic Oath seriously.\r \r This is not your typical physical therapy clinic with the hustle and bustle of several PT assistants overseeing patients doing exercises in a big room full of platforms and ramps and bouncing balls. In contrast, you will notice that the Punt Clinic has a quiet, soothing, healing atmosphere. Voices are muted. Smiles are plentiful.\r \r If you are dealing with pain and don’t know where to turn, do yourself a favor and give Robert Punt a try. more

To EVERYONE INTERESTED:\r \r My name is Rosemary and I have been CARED for my the Punt Physiotherapy Clinic in Silverdale for almost 18 months.\r \r During this time frame, I have grown to part of the family sort of speak with mutual admiration for Robert Punt and his staff. I cannot ever remember not being greeted by one or all three up front. Samantha, Kim and Mrs. Cheryl Punt are warm and caring people that will tend your every need if in their power. \r \r As in every medical appointment waiting times can happen but they do everything possible to keep you informed as to when your room will be ready. If you get irritated about the wait, all you need to do is think of how you would feel if you needed that extra five minutes from Robert and he were to tell you he could not because someone is waiting. This is what makes this office unique. EACH PATIENT is important to all of them and they do what they can to insure you leave in better condition than you arrive.\r \r I strongly recommend this clinic to everyone that wants to receive care for a well trained Physiotherapist that cares about your well being. I for one, would never want to be cared for by any other office.\r \r Rosemary ""Mamie"" Adkins more

If you want professional medical help 1/29/2013

If you want professional medical help please go to a REAL Physical Therapist! They don't value thier customers time. They are late to appointments! Not professional, rude, plus they have no street signage to show where their office is located. Beware! more

The Best Physical Therapist in the World! 1/18/2010

Robert Punt is a medical genius. He was trained in the Netherlands and his level of expertise and knowledge is WAY BEYOND any American physical therapist -- and I tried many, many others before I found Robert Punt, so I know. \r \r I am now close to being completely cured of a horrible pain condition that not other physical therapist or doctor knew how to fix. I was completely debilitated by pain before I came to him and my quality of life was really horrible. He saved my life!!! And, I mean it because I couldn't have gone on like that. \r \r Also, he has done this in an all natural way with no medications. In fact because of his treatment I was able to get off all the pain killers that I was on and that feels great! \r \r I travel to his office all the way from Redmond but I would travel there no matter where his office was because he is just that good! \r \r He really knows how to help with just about any type of problem and his goal is to fix the cause of the problem in order to solve it, not just patch over the symptoms. That way you really can have a long term resolution, not just some temporary fix. \r \r Plus, he and all his staff are all really kind, thoughtful, wonderful people. It is a great experience going there - in every way!! I give Punt Physiotherapy the highest recommendation possible -- 100 stars if I could!! Pros: Superior in every way to any other physical therapist! more

Exceptional Therapy in Silverdale, Washington 12/18/2006

I am a physical therapist who suffered with chronic neck and lower back symptoms following a car accident. I had tried various medications, physical therapists, and chiropractors with only moderate results. \r \r Robert Punt helped to relieve my symptoms. His training is Dutch and is more comprehensive then my American training. He used some different tools and techniques which addressed my particular problems compared to previous therapists. \r \r I rarely have flare ups now and when I do I have self management tools that Robert taught me. I have returned to many of my pre-accident hobbies such as travelling and hiking without pain.\r \r Robert's staff is helpful and kind. They were able to schedule me around my work hours so I did not have to take time off to attend therapy. They did an insurance verfication for me and explained my benefits. My portion of the bill was sent promptly after my insurance paid, so I could pay my part without accumulating an accrued bill. I always have found his staff to be patient and respectful of me.\r \r Pros: great therapy, beautiful office, easy parking, friendly staff more

An extraordinary physiotherapist 12/6/2006

I have been a patient of Robert Punt for some four years. I first saw him on the rebound. My doctor had sent me to a standard physical therapy clinic for treatment of a hip problem. After about three weeks of treatment and home exercise my pain was worse, not better. I reported this to the doctor, who promptly sent me to Punt.\r \r At my first appointment, Punt questioned me intently, checked a few things out, and said he could see why my pain had worsened with the prior treatment ? I had been mis-diagnosed. He explained he always does his own diagnosis, regardless of the doctor?s diagnosis. This is part of his training, most of which was in Holland, his native country. At the end of treatment, my condition was completely resolved. Since then, I have seen Punt for treatment of wrist and foot conditions, and am currently finishing a course of treatment for an injury. \r \r I have recommended Punt to several friends, all of whom have been very pleased with their treatment. He helped one friend regain range of motion with a shoulder that had no cartilage left. And he helped improve the quality of life of another friend in the last few months of his life. It was wonderful to see him glow after his treatments.\r \r Not only is Punt an extraordinary physiotherapist, he is a caring person who is sensitive to his patients? individual situations and gives of himself over and above what is expected or required.\r \r The office staff has been very helpful in talking with my health insurance companies. They have gone out of their way to verify what the policies would cover and what my costs would be, to make sure there were no surprises.\r \r In the tradition of ?form follows function,? the Punt Physiotherapy Center has just moved into a beautiful new clinic that Punt himself designed to enhance his treatment programs. You can feel the difference when you walk in. It will likely set a new standard for physical therapy clinics. Pros: Excellent treatment, beautiful setting, friendly people more

Punt Physiotherapy Center 11/30/2006

This outstanding physical therapist and his courteous and efficient staff provide care in a serene and relaxing, meticulously clean, comfortable environment. I appreciate his excellent training and skill. He restored my heath. Among other issues, I had great difficult y with my knees ,and had trouble walking. He was able to restore function so that I can walk properly and have not required more complex medical intervention. Treatment and retraining in learning how to walk properly has made a positive diffrence in my life, enabling me to continue to enjoy outdoor activities. As a senior citizen, the treatment took time. It was always a pleasure to deal with his staff, never a problem with promptness of treatments and no problem with insurance coverage. Pros: outstanding physical therapy more

Very Good Therapy - Very Poor Office Staff 9/18/2006

Robert Punt is very good at what he does. The front office will lead you to believe that they are communicating with your insurance company and keeping you notified of any changes. What they don't tell you is that some of the codes they submit are not accepted by insurance or only have limited payouts. They will continue to serve you and change your therapy without notifying your of the cost involved. Then when the insurance will not pay, you receive a huge bill. Call your insurance every week while under this companies treatment. Never accept their verification of insurance coverage. Additude of the front office staff is poor to unacceptable for a service orientated firm. Cheryl Punt (office manager) is unyielding and firmset on collecting as much money as possible, no matter how the service is handled. Beware! Pros: Good therapy Cons: Very Poor office staff and insurance claim handling more
