I was looking for new drawing surfaces to use for pastels. The staff member showed me the Wallis pastel boards which I did wind up buying. They have a great drawing surface for pastels. The staff member also gave me a couple pieces of mat board for free that had a suede texture and told me to try it. I really liked the texture and plan on getting more. I tend to ask for a lot of help when I'm shopping so that I can get the best deal at the best quality. The staff member taught me a lot about the different types of pastels, the final sprays, and showed me what to do with a chamois without making me feel as though I was bothering them. I will always shop at a store with such great customer service. more

Great Store 11/20/2010

I started my Christmas shopping late this year. I went to Provo Art & Frame looking for art kits for my grandkids. It was nice to see art kits that were not the typical kit in a plastic box. The employee that helped me said that they make a bunch of kits. The kits that I bought came with an instruction book and all the supplies that were listed in the book. I was looking for an oil kit, acrylic kit, and a drawing kit. There wasn't a acrylic kit available that I liked but the employee offered to make a kit for me in a price range that I wanted. I thought that was very nice of her to offer to do that for me. She was very helpful and I appreciate an employee going out of their way to help me. I will definitely be shopping there again. more

Very Pleased! 10/23/2010

I've had several cross stitches framed here and they have always been done correctly and the staff has always treated me like a friend so I'm a little surprised at the not-so-nice review. Some of my cross stitches have been out of square and after they pin mounted them they are perfect. The employees have even taken my cross stitches to the dry cleaners for me which I feel is a great added service. My experiences with Provo Art and Frame has been great. I do recommend them to anyone. more

Art Supplies, Artist Portfolios, Framing 3/19/2006

I looked everywhere for a very nice leather-bound artist portfolio (one of the huge ones) and couldn’t find them anywhere in town except for here! They also have the insert pages to protect your portfolio items. In addition to the portfolios, Provo Art & Frame also carries art supplies for canvas/paper art. They have supplies for drawing, calligraphy, watercolor, pastels, oil, brushes, modeling figures, etc. When you have your art done, you can get it custom framed here. more
