Proto's is like eating in the Old Country. The pizza pies are thin, bubbly and slightly charred. The flavors melt on my taste buds like a dream. The martinis are shaken hard and poured into ultra chilled glasses. The wine list is creative and original at Proto's Pizza. I slipped down some fresh oysters on the half shell to start my meal, and then sat back at the end of it all and devoured a cannoli and double espresso. I'll be back on Friday for their clam pizza.
