Princeton Air Conditioning

Requested AC service. Paid over 400$ for maybe 30-60 mins. Changed a couple of filters and freon and supposedly performed 12 point inspection. Mentioned condensation pump leak earlier to technician. Not noted in workorder, said everything is fine. Condensation pump started leaking in 3 weeks. On calling back they want to charge another 100$ for diagnostics? What a rip off. Poor service representative who has no courtesy of speaking with a customer. more

I was less than impressed with Princeton Air. First off, as a new customer they over charge for their diagnostic service of $101.65 just to tell you need to spend another $260 (est. $380) for a $10 part valve part. I was informed by the tech that they needed to drain my hot water heater to repair a small line that fits into my humidifier and I would need to schedule another service call. Better yet, I was told to purchase a brand new humidiifier at $600, not including the $101.65 I already spent!! First and last time using Princeton Air. more

During annual maintenance Princeton air found high co2 levels in my home. It was found that I had a cracked heat exchanger in my furnace. They took care of the potentially deadly problem. Me my wife and my 2 dauters are very grateful. more

We had Princeton Air replace our AC system a year ago with one of their high-end units. Unfortunately, we noticed a month ago that our AC was making a high-pitched squeaking noise every time it cycled on. The service call to Princeton Air (charged to us) did not detect any issue. Over the next two weeks, our AC stopped functioning. After another service call, with a wait time of a week, indicated that it was likely due to a leak in the system and would require a separate service appointment where we had to wait for another week-and-a-half without AC. This service call indicated the leak was in the coil and would require a 4th service appointment to fix. Unfortunately, we are still waiting to have a functioning less-than-2-year-old system from Princeton Air. I regret using them due to the poor quality of the installation, product and follow-up service. more
