Best Diner/Restaurant in the Tri-State. Great Date Spot 9/9/2010

The Pop Shop in Collingswood NJ offers a 1950's era diner feel. The setting very casual and very social. The mood in the restaurant encourages your party to make good conversation. The highlight of the dining menu is but not limited to 31 grilled cheese's!!! And there is an entire additional menu dedicated to ice cream, soda pop concoctions, and belgium waffles and other deserts. I recommend this why the weather is still good bc the Main street strip in Collingswood offers a perfect date spot. I suggest parking far away so you and your date can enjoy good conversation and nice walk. For the type of restaurant that the pop shop is and the category it is under I give it a perfect 5 stars compared to any other diner or restaurant in its league. It has a huge variety, it caters to children, teens, adults, it has the largest grilled cheese menu that i have ever seen, and there is an entire additional menu devoted to custom drinks and deserts. more

Great deals and meals at The Pop Shop 11/24/2008

My family have been big Pop Shop fans since they opened. We appreciate the diverse menu, great prices and friendly service. Crispy, melty grilled cheeses, big juicy burgers with delicious french fries, huge stacks of creative pancakes, giant salads - we have tried it all. Also -the BEST chicken fingers in the world! My kids love the soda hats and balloons. The food is very good quality and your get more than ample portions and you can eat for 5 to 10 dollars per person. The kids menus are a very good deal as well. The place is famous too - it was Throwdown with Bobby Flay on the Food Network! Pros: Really good, creative food, good value, fun! Cons: They don't have a parking lot but there's plenty of parking by the speedline more
