Nice Park 4/9/2008

I cannot believe you have to pay to get in here! The trails are nice and offer a great running/walking scenery. The pool is nice if you want to take a dip. The mosquitos are bad, but it is nice to see deer in the fall. The park is really a great retreat! Pros: scenic, pool, hours Cons: mosquitos, price more

I lived by this park for 3 years adored running the loop around the park. I compare all other parks to this one. Pros: Not crowded, awesome trails, deer Cons: bugs more

This park is truly deserving of it's stellar rating but if you are visiting during summer 2002, the park pool will be closed for renovations all summer. The pool was recently noted in USA Today as one of the ten largest public pools in the U.S. Pros: Great family camping., A huge pool., Fun place to fish. more
