Plaza Salon

I've been going to Plaza Salong for about 4 or 5 years and always have gotten a good haircut from them. I have wavy-curly hair and Janine suggested a different cut several years ago that left me looking fabulous. The best thing is that the salon is not overpriced. I can get a haircut for $18 and look great! more

There is a hairdresser named Dave, that is the BEST hairdresser in the world.I moved to California and helped produce the California music awards, I had access to the top hairdressers... AND NOBODY CAME CLOSE TO DAVE'S talent. I finally found him at the Plaza Salon!!!! Thank God!!! He is genius, a Vidal Sasson trained pro in all areas. more

Unless you're getting a buzz cut, do not, under any circumstances, go here. Unless you want these people to absolutely butcher your hair, I suggest you spend your time and money going to a respectable place to get your hair cut. The last time I went there, the hair on the top of my head was stnading on end, the hair on the front was 2 inches shorter on one side than the other, and the hair on the back of my head was completely crooked. Yes, I did point this out to them, but the guy who had butchered my hair refused to change it and almost threw a hissy fit. I had to gel everything back like a friggin mafioso for a month until it grew out and I could go down to New York and have a real barber, a nice old Italian guy I know, fix me up. So as I said, buzz cuts only people. Of course if that's what you want, you'd be better off buying yourself a thing and buzzing it yourself... more
