Blind folded by the good location and fancy look of the facility & trusting that the service was for sure outstanding; I register my 2 children. During the 11/2 years that my children attended Plantation Child Care the following issues raised a major concern to my husband & I regarding the well being of the kids:1)Our kids were constantly sick (colds, weird rashes, eye infections) or in the case of our infant, she presented scratches, cotton mouth, bites from other kids and bruises more than normal, which tells us that they were not being watched by the caregivers & there was a sanitation problem. I had to leave work and pick up the kids constanly, since they would not attend to a sick child, even though the facility caused the illness. 2)My son was constantly reprehended and wrote up for fighting with others, a behavior totally unlike him. He went from a kind sweet boy to an aggressive, disrespectful & stressed little boy while attending Plantation; this affected his first 1? years of school. Thankfully, with the help of his teacher he is almost back to his original self. 3)The FOOD was terrible ?nothing nutritious? they would serve a bagel with cream cheese at breakfast & that was all. if the babies didn?t eat it; there was more food until their next meal. I would have to buy them McDonalds and share it with other kids that were hungry. So yea! Very Bad. I was always late to work. I made many fruitless complaints about these issues, but that was how the director had instructed to be. No changes were made.\r
I found out by a former employee, that the sanitation was very bad; employees washed together used and new cups & bottles, then without proper sanitation, milk was given to our children. It is upsetting and unfortunate that Jennifer Linsey only care about money & not the well being of our children. Her ?Business? affected my children. So ?never judge a book by its cover? make sure you find out what?s about first. SORRY! KIDDOS.Mommy and Daddy?s fault. \r
Pros: the building is nice & internet cameras
Cons: Unhealthy foods, unsanitary, understaff, poor learning, kids are always sick, missing work to pickup ur kids because they are sick or they cry to much, have no control
