I was Amazed Just How Incredible the Seafood was..And Everything Else the group I was with Ordered. Hands Down The Best Seafood In Ft.Lauderdale!!! Its like eating at a Gourmet Restaurant..That you can wear Flip Flops too. I was so Impressed I took a Friend there to sample there Steaks...And I have to Tell you it was Cooked Perfectly more

I had the Kobe burger with cheese. All the toppings (and there are many) available without the extra charge most places charge. You won't be disappointed....beers were ice cold too...check out the bucket specials. more

GLAD WE WENT 7/14/2011

I took my brother there last night for his birthday; he wanted to go there but I was not to sure because of the prior reviews. I am GLAD WE WENT. The service was great, Pirate Republic was hosting a social event but we still received great services. Both my brother and I ordered steaks and they had great flavor and cooked perfect! See you guys again soon! more

This place has the best burger I've ever had. I saw some other tables getting some great looking seafood dishes whuch I'll probably try next time but I was in the mood for a burger and what a burger! more

Average Food HORRIBLE service? 8/14/2010

We went there last night to have a couple of drinks and a bite to eat. The server at the upstairs bar told us to go somewhere else if didnt want to wait (this was after we got a bit impatient after asking her for menus at least 5 times in 30minutes)...never experienced bad and rude service like this! We finally got our food...average to poor quality. There are dozens of better places in Fort Lauderdale, go there! Don't ruin your night at this place!!! more

Pirates - What's Not To Like! 1/2/2010

Located on New River, this new restaurant (used to be Shirttail Charlies) is all about pirates. I mean everything. From the paintings on the walls to the names of the dishes (Morgan's Coconut Shrimp anyone?). We went on a Thursday afternoon for lunch and it was packed. But even though the staff was very busy, our waitress was on top of everything. And if you are a drinker - try the Pirate Treasure drink. Wasn't strong enough for me, but it was tasty!
