Cindy ( the bikini wax girl ) is leaving. Her last day is 5-19-2009. At this time they do not have anyone else to replace her. Previosly I had given a low rating because I wasn't told right away that Cindy was leaving them however, I had to update my review to say that the owner of this salon called back to help me find another place. I was really impressed! Even though I couldn't get this done at Perfections I will definantly be trying them for other services because the owner was so helpful. Okay, I just gotta share this. After pondering about all the questions we all have about Brazilian waxes, I began looking for a place to go. I found Perfections on the internet and decided to call after reading all the great reviews. Well, lemme tell ya, I'm so glad I did. I was greeted on the phone by a very sweet sounding woman who turned out to be Jenny. The day for my 1st Brazilian came and I was a lil apprehensive....you know...that unknown element. Cyndi immediately put me at ease...the whole experience was much more pleasant than I had expected...to say that it is painless would not be accurate....BUT...it was not near as bad as i had heard....Cyndi uses blue wax...the way to go...no adhesion to skin......I'm about to go back for my second....that should say something. And that's not the end of it...I also got a therapeutic massage that 1st day.....the best ever....one full hour of bliss.....Cyndi also practices reflexology..I had suffered with tennis elbow for several months. The pain had traveled up my arm and into my shoulder and neck which had disturbed my sleep for weeks...i actually slept all night after leaving Cyndi....a second session a week later eased it even more.....I'm hooked...you will be too. more

I had my first Brazilian a couple of weeks ago. The reviews are right on target. Cindy is great! She made me feel comfortable and at ease in a nervous situation. Cindy is professional, friendly and had a way about her that helped me relax. Honestly, the wax did hurt, but it wasn't near as bad as I thought it would be. I discovered Cindy through a friend of a friend, and when I think about it, that is the best kind of referral. I have referred a couple of my friends to Cindy and have no reservations about my referrals. If you have any concerns or questions, give Cindy a call and you will see how she will put you at ease. Thank you, Cyndi, for talking me into my first microdermabrasion! I was holding off due to money and fear, but Cyndi talked with me and assured me everything would be fine, and she was right!!! She talks to you the whole time and lets you set the limits for each treatment. She is professional and extremely knowledgeable about the treatment she is performing. It's affordable and you leave feeling wonderful! I really could tell the difference immediately after the first session. I can't wait to have my second and third and, and,and...!!! I am from out of town and was trying to find a new waxer, I ran across reviews on citysearch and saw all of the wonderful things people were saying about Cindy and I had to see what the buzz was about. Cindy certainly lives up to all of the great things people have said about her. I am not new to brazillian waxing, but I must say she did the best job I have ever had done!! So I went and saw Cyndi for my first Brazillian last Saturday. I was very skeptical, but after talking on the phone with her I was a little more optomistic about my first visit. Upon my arrival, all of my fears and insecurities came rushing back. I was super nervous, but Cyndi reassured me that I'd make it through. She did tell me that the first time would be the worst and that the next time would be half of what I was going to experience that day. That sounded promising! Cyndi was very professional and didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all. I love the wax they use! It's the blue wax that only sticks to the hair and not the skin! It was great. Of course, there were a few pulls that hurt, but they did not bring me to tears. I was unsure as to whether or not I wanted to leave the "landing strip". I opted to take it all off this time, and I am loving it. It takes some getting used too, but I am really enjoying it and wondering why I didn't do this sooner!!!! Pros: Very professional more

If you've never had a Brazilian or you have and want to try something different/better, go to Cindy! She is really good at what she does! I've had many Brazilians and this is probably the least painful one. It should have been pretty bad because I haven't been waxed in a year and I'm pregnant (which is supposed to hurt more) and it didn't. Some parts are uncomfortable, but that is to be expected. All in all it was a really great Brazilian and I would highly recommend Cindy! If you're getting strip waxed and not getting the blue wax you're missing out. Make your appointment now! more

I just had to let you all know that I have gone to Perfections twice for microdermabrasion and I already have my third and fourth appointment set up. I started losing weight and started seeing wrinkles that I had never seen before. I was soooo scared AND disgusted. I didn't know what to do. I found Perfections and called and asked a whole bunch of questions. Cindy is the one that answered the phone, and yes, like everyone else says, she was very nice. I actually didn't believe her when she said that I would notice results the same day. I was hoping that it was true, but being desperate to get rid of the wrinkles I thought that I would try at least one time. And guess what! She was right! What's even more amazing, everyone else around me has noticed too! My husband never says anything about my looks, but he said my skin is smoother. Well, he didn't use that term, but he noticed that I do look better. He doesn't even notice when I get a haircut. Just in case, I always set my appointments up so that I can be sure to get in for my treatments. I cannot thank Perfections enough for giving me back my pretty skin. My girlfriend has been going to Cyndi weekly for her massage. My friend swears her massage has been helping her with golf. Seeing how much better she has been doing and feeling, I decided to see for myself and drive from The Woodlands to Conroe to see Cyndi . WOW!! I couldn't believe it! Cyndi was great! I am now able to walk about more freely. Overall, I just felt plain good. I asked Cyndi what she calls her massage, and she said it doesn't have a name. She says my body tells her what to do. She also said that a good foot massage will make anyone feel good (that was part of my massage). I already made my appointment for next week! Now, Cyndi did mention that she does some great brazilians, but I don't know if this grandma is gonna be ready for that. If I do decide to get one, BELIEVE me, Cyndi will be the one i go to first. As incredible as the massage is, I am positive her waxing is out of this world! As for now, I'm sticking with Cyndi for her healing hands. Thank you, Cyndi. PS. The drive from The Woodlands to Conroe is NOT bad at all. It's great to get out of the traffic and loop around to Perfections. more

Cindy was fantastic! She explained everything before she started and put me completely at ease. There was minimal discomfort with the waxing and the wax really stuck only to the hair and not the skin!! 24 hours later there is still no redness or tenderness!!! Pros: Experience was obvious!! OK, WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG!!!!! Cindy is AWSOME!!!! I'm not going to lie it hurt just a little bit in certin areas but for the most part it was painless. Iet me tell yall I went to Cindy from these reviews, so this it what I learned that I did not know from the reviews The wax does not stick to your skin only to the hair THATS AWSOME!!! and most everyones review are done right after they have it done. I wanted to wait and see what it was like after 4 weeks. Cindy said only 50% of your hair grows back SHE WAS RIGHT!!!!! i have very little hair this month to have removed. This is far better than any shave. I did not have any bumbs and no pain afterwards. again I have know Idea why I waited so long. I'm more comfortable going to Cindy for a wax then to the OBGYN! she talks to you, makes you feel so relaxed, and gives you an awsome experience. I promise if you go to Cindy you will not be sorry. Today is my second visit and I cant wait!! If I had to say one thing to someone that has not had a Hollywood/brazillan yet I would say. I never knew I needed so much pampering in my life. I was directed to Perfections from a friend and the massage therapy, reflexology and microderm was unbelievable. Some good stuff for my insides and the massage for the outsides. Reflexology works. Afterwards I thought, okay why didn't I start doing this a long time ago. Anyway, my muscles and joints never felt so good and not to forget my face looks more smooth. Not having a giant metro moment here, but as a guy the harsh sun damage all these years is looking better with the skin treatment. I was totally relaxed and entertained, Cyndi is funny and just all around great!!! I think the next step is brazilian waxing for me. Thanks for the best first experience!!! Last month before leaving for my destination wedding and honeymoon-I came to see Cyndi for a brazilian. This was my first time and I was anticipating much more distress than I went through! There was very minimal pain/discomfort and the majority of that was based on my expectations. I thought this would be a one time deal, but it went so nicely I am going to continue to recieve treatments. My next appt is today and I am looking forward to having the same experience and fabulous results!! more

I went back to Cyndi to receive my second brazilian and was absolutely amazed! It didn't hurt at all. In fact, sometimes I have a harder time with getting my eyebrows waxed. I just kept telling her how I couldn't believe it. There truly was virtually no pain! I must say also that my hubby quite enjoyed it since we had been apart for nearly 11 months. What a treat! I am going in for my third brazilian today and cannot wait to see the results. It has absolutely changed my life! I am getting a massage as well! Yessss!!!! I FINALLY DID IT!!! I have no clue whatsoever as to what took me so long to finally get my first Brazilian wax. My girlfriend told me that I HAD to do it. So, I am back in Huntsville, and I don't have time for razor bumps or stubble. Cindy was so very nice when I called on the phone. You could tell right away that she really cares, and she answered all my questions with a smile and her calming voice. I wanted to start out with a bikini wax and Cindy left open the option to turn it into a full blown Brazilian. She said she would schedule plenty of extra time in case I changed my mind. Once Cindy started, I could not believe how easy it was for me. She promised that it was not easy, but that I would live through it. Wow, not only did I live through it, I cannot live without it! Sure it hurt a just a little bit, I aint gonna lie, but wow, the results are more than worth it. Cindy did say that my second Brazilian will go even smoother. And, guess what...I believe her. So, if you've been thinking about it for a while, it's just time to do it. I feel like I have a secret and I'm telling everybody about it!! Color me crazy, but I was so relaxed after my wax that I had the best sleep I've had in a long time. I got the full leg and brazilian. I've had regular bikini waxes before, but the brazilian is great!!!! Cyndi was wonderful and I immediately felt at ease with her. My second appointment is tomorrow. I can't wait. more

This was my first time ever getting waxed and I got the Brazilian. It was exactly as what I expected; it was wasn't painful, but you could feel it. However, Cindy made me feel totally comfortable and relaxed. It had been a week now and I love the results, I will definitely go back. Just for your information, it is a process so you have to do it 3 times to see the complete finished results. more

This was my first Brazilian and I am so glad that I had Cyndi do it! My Sister-in-Law had gone to Cyndi and recommended that I try her out when we were talking one weekend. At first I was extremely skeptical having historically only done the bikini wax at my local nail salon, which was usually unpleasant because they used the pink "strip" wax....I had thought about a Brazilian but never seriously considered doing it because I was scared of the pain! My Sister-in-Law assured me that Cyndi used a different type of wax and that it really didn't hurt....WOW what a difference that high quality blue "pull" wax makes, like night and day! I felt little to NO discomfort during the procedure, yes even there! Cyndi goes at your pace never rushing through the appointment and has an great personality that helps calm your nerves and makes you feel very comfortable...if you're like me you'll probably end up laughing the majority of the appointment. She also had the wonderful idea of keeping ice on stand by to help numb those areas that may be a little more sensitive than others - it's amazing you really don't feel a thing! If you have ever considered a Brazilian or even if you want to stick with the usual bikini wax (without pain) you better hurry and get an appointment with Cyndi now, before everyone discovers our secret and books her out past bikini season.
