Horrible Customer Service 2/16/2006

I was there awhile back to get one tire with my then 2 yr old son. It took them over 3 hours (after I went to find out the progress on the tire) that they didn't have a replacement in the size I needed. Mind you, the tire had not been touched from the time I brought it in to be looked at to the time I asked about it. They were not apologetic at all, and seemed put out when I asked if they could check other Pep Boys in the area. I will NEVER go there for anything again. more

OK for minor, simple problems -- Tend to miss things when doing bigger repairs 7/18/2005

We keep going back there and they keep messing up. We have taken our truck there many times and, although they say all is well when they are done, we encounter problems and things they missed. They're friendly but I don't think they're very high tech mechanics. The prices range from reasonable to high and sometimes the wait for repair is long. I don't know why we keep going back, maybe because they are close. They don't do a terrible job but they often miss things and we end up right back there a day or two later. Just be very careful and very sure everything was taken care of before you drive away. Minor problems usually are fixed fine. Anything complcated leads to problems. more
