As you will notice in ALL previous comments....you couldn't ask for a nicer sales team. They are all grins & giggles & they will treat you like royalty. THAT IS, UNTIL YOU ROLL OFF THE LOT!!!! After that....any service problems you may have will be taken as lightly as possible. They will take their sweet time to repair it & will act clueless to just about everything you ask. Heaven forbid you think that "platinum" warranty you purchased will cover "everything" that they initially told you it would. They have it all down to a "T". The service team & warranty people work together as a team you see. I've had this done to me way too many times. The trend is obvious! If they have any way at all to get out of paying they will (*read the fine print in your warranty manual-very broad areas they can loop through). You end up paying at least a portion of the repairs. That way the warranty people saves $ & the service dept makes $. Please, never take your vehicle to Peltier Chevrolet-Cadillac in Lufkin, Tx. At some point, it will bite you in the butt...it happened to me way too many times but NEVER AGAIN! NEVER AGAIN! more

My wife and I were suprised by the large selection of Tahoes and we really like the price we got on our new Tahoe. I shopped for over a month and Peltier was the best deal. We had a great salesperson, Darin, and look forward to doing business with Peltier again. more

We had looked at a few cars at the Peltier car lot in Lufkin on first street when they were closed so the next day we called on them and were wanting prices and they refused to give them to us they said that we would have to come in and look at them for them to tell us. When we got there they were so rude to us that we just turned around and walked off. I wasn't about to give them my busy when they treated us like we were dirt pretty much. They wanted to make sure we had perfect credit before we even looked at any of the cars. Needless to say I didn't allow them to check my credit before we left. I won't go back here. They are pushy and rude. more

I went to Peltier Chevrolet thinking they could finance me since their adds say they can finance anyone for a new vehicle. Well I was wrong. The first day I went I was told they could and my current truck would be my down payment. He told me to come back the next day so I did. The guy the next day said I could only be financed if I had a co-signer and at least $3000 down. I don't have either of those so I just left. Their adds say one thing but when you go in there they are completely different. I won't trust anymore of their adds and I won't ever be going back there. more

Peltier Chevrolet in Lufkin can't make up their mind about anything. We went in on Wednesday to look for a new car or truck. The guy working with us Wednesday said we would be financed and needed maybe $500 at the most down. He told us to come back the next day at 3. We went back at 3 and the guy was not there so we ended up with another sales guy. He ended up saying he didn't know if they could finance us but they might be able to do something if we had at least $3000 down unless we had a co-signer. There is no-one to co-sign so that is out of the question. We end up leaving there not knowing what to do. Today on the radio I heard their add again and as usual it says we will finance anyone with good credit, bad credit, or no credit. That add is a complete lie. They won't finance you unless you have good credit. They told my boyfriend you have some credit and it is not bad but it's not good enough to be able to finance you. If you aren't going to finance someone that doesn't have perfect credit then why put an add out saying you will finance anyone. That makes me so mad that their adds are complete lies and so are the sales people. Neither of the two who helped us told us anything relatively similar. I will stay away from this place from now on. more

I purchased a car from here and took it back for repairs a few times. It was ok. I did feel like I couldn't 100% trust if they were charging the correct prices or overcharging me. They took quite a while to fix the car and although they will take you home in their courtesy van and sometimes will bring the car to you at home, it's still irritating that you have to wait a day or two for something that you could've had done while sitting there. I'd say overall this is an ok place to take your vehicle if you can't find anywhere else to service you, average prices, average repair, etc, nothing spectacular. more

They are rude and will over charge you and sometimes they don't even fix the problem correctly and expect you to pay more money to them to have them fix it properly. Our car was under warranty and they told us that they don't work on used cars that has a warranty on it and suggested that we call the place we bought it from and ask them to help is pay for the a/c problem we were having!! I would not take my car here if it was the last place in Lufkin, TX to take my car. I would drive way out of my way to go to get my car fixed somewhere else. Very disappointed in them. more
