Peck's Bar-b-que

Firstly, pulled pork isn't a specialty of Peck's although they can and will do it well. Minced BBQ is the thing. There's a real difference between Eastern and Western (North Carolina) BBQ. Lexington is in between. That's where Peck comes from.\r \r Minced BBQ is chopped fine, so the flavors of the dip can penetrate and create a fuller flavor sensation. There's a lot of vinegar, and then there's tomato and red pepper and sugar and other flavors than you just can't name. Yeah, maybe the service isn't five-star. You can get a quart of sweet tea for $1, a sandwich, fries and a drink for less than $5. If you are a fan of pulled pork bar-b-q then you have to stop here. Authentic pit cooked served with a smokin' vinegar based sauce that will leave you begging for more. I have had a lot of bar-b-q on the east coast but this is one of the best. I live right down the street from Peck's and I LOVE going there!!! It's a great little BBQ that everyone can enjoy. The food is great AND it's totally affordable! It's a great place just to stop in and grab a drink and a burger or to have a nice full meal! I fully recommend Pecks!!!
