Patel Bazaar

I went to Desi Bazaar to purchase a few clothe items and accessories as I am interested in ethnic wear and was pleased with the prices. I am a very indecisive person when it comes to shopping, but the cashier was very sweet and helpful. I plan on coming back to purchase another kurta or two.I am not that familiar with Indian/Pakistani/Bangladesh grocery items or spices so I am not sure how good the food selection is but the fruits and vegetables seemed fresh and like a good variety and to me. more

After reading the review for Patel's Bazaar right here on this site, I decided to go and pay it a little visit myself. There were so many unique and unusual items to look at! They carry a wide variety of Indian gourmet items! Lots of nicely packaged beans, spices, snack items, and so forth. The sales people were nice and very helpful in selecting a few items to try. This was definitely an adventure... One I will probably make again soon! more

I am an adventurous person, so after reading an ad for this store, and while driving by, I decided to stop here to take a look. This grocery store sells a variety of Indian products. While I am not able to appreciate all of them, I still found stopping here to be a worthwhile endeavor. They had all sorts of flatbreads (naan, chapati, etc.) along with all kinds of "fry your own" kits. I thought that the frozen foods looked intriguing too. Besides the usual array of grocery items, this store also stocked Indian Bollywood films and music, fresh baked goods, and kitchen products, such as bowls and teapots. However, I was a little disappointed that much of the food was almost expired, as I had hoped to see lots of fresh stock. But, the merchandise was affordable, and I still enjoyed my visit. more
