Parasol's, at the corner of 3rd and Constance in New Orleans' Irish Channel, serves what might be the best roast beef po-boy in New Orleans. I like mine dressed with gravy and swiss cheese. Yeah, it's a mess. The gravy runs down your forearms and you attempt to stuff the sandwich in your mouth, but, oh my, it's well worth it and more. Can't stomach the beef? Try the fried oyster, shrimp or catfish po-boys.
Plus, they've got a great, old bar and loads of character.
