As a visitor from Portland, I have frequented many o' great restaurants and sampled fabulous fare. While a small town can sometimes find it difficult to live up to large-city taste, Pancake Mill does it for breakfast. If your from out of town, don't be put off because you can't find a ""fancy"" place to eat. The staff here are very friendly and the atmosphere is as well. Walk inside and take a peek at the ""pie shop"" area. These pies are not only extremely huge, they are home-made by locals and are delicious! You can also taste croissant's or bran muffins. Order a hot chocolate - they come tall with a huge cloud of whipped-cream and mini chocolate chips. The omlette's are wonderful and so are the crepes or steak and eggs. Remember that it's just a couple blocks from the Casino as well! Good Job Coos Bay/North Bend!
