My apartment was not clean. There were balls of gray cat fur under all of the livingroom furniture. The bed linens were worn out. The dishwasher was usless. The apartment is a ground level with two units above. There is no one to contact for issues involving the units above. One weekend at 4 AM I finally gave up and call the police because the noise was so bad....and worst of all was the odor of mold coming from the crawl space opening into the livingroom coat closet. The day I turned in the keys there were 2 other ladies in the office complaining about the same odor as me. The person who took the keys was extreamly rude to them. Telling that that that's just the way it is down here and that it's nothing to be concerned about. I've from here and I know mold when I smell it!!! \r
It took weeks to get the interent working. Ruby said that I was lying bout this and that she was the one who got my internet working. She had nothing to do with my internet! Debra and Amanda tried. They even came to the apartment. They ended up switching companies and a serviceman came out and set it up!\r
And now, I've been waiting for the refund of my $1450.00 deposit for 22 days PAST the 30 days that is in the contract. I was told by Ruby that it had been mailed to my old address(I gave them my new address the day I turned in the keys) Anyway, Ruby said that the check had been mailed the 3rd week in September and that I would need to give it a few more days to be forwarded to my new address and that Debra, the person who would have to contact the accounting department was out sick and would be back on Monday, Sept. 30. That was September 26, 2013. I call back today, October 2, to have Ruby tell me that Debra is not feeling well and that she, Ruby, would talk to her about it when she came in. Realizing that Ruby had lied to me I call back to try and speak to Amanda, the agent who leased the apartment to. Robin tells me that Amanda is out until later in the week and asks is there is anyone else I can speak with. I eventually get to speak to Debra.....yes, the same Debra who a few minutes earlier is out sick!!!!!!!! \r
And believe it or not, Debra tells me that she was with a client when I called earlier and that she is NEVER out sick..... I have to wait ANOTHER WEEK to see if the check will be forwarded to me before the CEO Mary will stop payment on the check and reissue another....And she doesn't want to talk anout Ruby lying to me!!!!\r
Bottom line is that these ladies are rude, dishonest and untrustworthy. The property that I rented from April to August was not worth the 1450.00/month that I paid. They have a tone of aggrevation when you call(after you've signed the lease) with anything that is in need of repair. \r
NEVER RENT FROM THEM!!!!!!!!
