I have been going to Marianne for cut and color for over a year now. Not once have a I left unhappy with my new haircut or color. She listens to what I want but has a lot of good input. Everything always works out perfectly. Even better is that the cut keeps it shape for a long time -- in fact, even if I wait 10 weeks in between short haircuts. The style is also easy to maintain. Marianne is the best colorist I've ever been to, and trust me, I've been to a lot. She instinctively knows the colors that will look good on her clients when they ask for a specific color scheme. I love playing with color and Marianne manages to bring my ideas into reality every time. She gives great cuts too, giving each client a look that is chic but easy to work with on a daily basis. Marianne is an experienced stylist with a great sense of style. She is terrific at getting what it is you have in mind, but is also able to provide great suggestions if you need her input. Marianne is an extraoridinary hari stylist. She's been doing my hair since I met her 6 or 7 years ago. I have a round face and would not look good with most hair styles. It is also impossible for me to wear bands. I just had my hair done by Marianne and I have bands.....SHORT........and I LOVE it!! I look good and stylish for the first time with bands hanging in front of my forehead. Thanks to Marianne for such a good job. BTW, my son is also her clientele. I have been going to Marianne for about 5 years now and even followed her from Visual Image over to Avalon Salon in Fremont. She is absolutely amazing with hair!!!! The first time I went to see her she took my already blonde hair to a perfect platiunum blonde with no color variations or roots. At one point I decided to take my blonde hair to a full DARK brunette---she almost killed me for it. However, the color was awesome, but I itched to go back blonde. She was sooooo patient with me and that LONG transition even though it took nearly a year for my hair to handle the color again. She really truly takes the time to get to know her clients, and always makes me feel at home with her. She is definately worth every bit for the quality of the color and style I get from her. :) So if you are a blonde and really want color done that EVERYONE will compliment you on?? I have been going to Marianne for about 5 years now. She is amazing. I am always changing my look and looking for the hottest hairstyle. With Marianne, I know I am always going to get exactly what I want. She is not afraid to try new things and think outside the box! I had my hair down to my lower back and chopped it off to a ""Rihanna"" style short cut. I cannot tell you how many people come up to me and compliment me on my cut. I visited Pheonix who is a stylist at PM Salon in Burlingame and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a stylist. It was the day before my brother's wedding and I had my hair colored by a different stylist in Los Angeles and my hair was bleached orange. My cousin had recommended me to Pheonix and I was sooo grateful! She fixed my hair color and instantly toned it down into a wonderful golden brown--exactly as I had requested and I will always appreciate her help because I love my hair in the wedding photos, which I will treasure forever. If you are looking for a very talented hair stylist, look no further. You got to check out Marianne. She has definitely got the ""magic touch"". I have moved from New York 2 years ago and I had such a hard time looking for the right hair dresser. Then one day, I was walking down on Burlingame Ave, I've noticed this logo PM Hair stating ""European Style"" with Vidal Sassoon and Bumble & Bumble techniques. I thought to myself, ""great"" I've been to Bumble & Bumble in New York and they were great. My curiosity and intuition told me to check it out. The place is like an oasis in a desert, tucked in on the loft of this nail spa. I was skeptical at first but the minute Marianne sat me down on her chair, I was completely blown away and I knew I have finally found ""The One"". She had given me an amazing cut/color and style, like the ones in New York. For a minute, I thought she was from there and was so impressed that an Asian gal could be so talented. I had so many compliments by my family, friends and even strangers too. Is good to discover and know that there are great hair dressers here in the Bay Area. Once again, Marianne you are great! I went to PM Hair to my hair tinted and styled by one of their stylist Marianne. She is one of the best that I have ever been too. She uses the right products for tinting and shampooing your hair. It just so happened that I was in the neighborhood so I decided to get my hair cut at PM:Hair. I must admit I was nervous because this was my first cut here. 45 minutes later I was very pleased with the cut and I will definately go back.
