The workers are rude. You say Good Morning to the one selling the pulls and they don't say anything. They sit and smoke and talk to each other. If they have to get up and sell pulls to you they are nasty. I would think that if the management wants people to come out to play they would train the staff to be of service, after all the people playing pay the over head. They could take lessons from the ladies selling the bingo packs because they know how to treat people. It's makes me not want to come out to play. I don't want to be treated as if they don't want me there. I'm not the only one that's feels this way I've heard others talk about it. I've play a couple of times with your place and I'm done. I've giving it a couple of chances and it's the same . more

Great Swimming 11/7/2005

Overhill Lake is a great little place to hang out in the summer. If you don't want to drive to Water County, it is a little park right here in Glen Allen. The pool has a sand bottom, which is a little odd. There is also an actual real lake. In the pool part there are two large water slides and lots of other things to play on. There is also a shallow area for little ones. They have sand around the lake for a beach feel. more

Not a Clean Place to Go 8/26/2005

Overhill Lake could be a fun recreation area for families if the management could find a way to keep the water clean. No one likes to swim around in a pool of water while discarded trash floats by. I am not exaggerating. I have seen this for myself. I do not plan to go to Overhill Lake in the future unless they decide to clean the place up and make it family friendly. more
