Poor service 1/4/2011

This outback was average. We seated ourselves and waited for at least 10 minutes before our waitress came. However, she was pleasant and did well with the order. But at the end of the night everyone was told good evening and come again except us. What's the deal wi more

Sheliah is the Bomb!!!! Glen Burnie location 8/10/2006

All I have to say is the outback in glen burnie would be aweful if it wasnt for Sheliah vallimont. all the other girls are bitches. Her service is the bomb!!!!! Pros: sheliah Cons: other waitresses and management more

rusty 7/1/2003

Good ole Outback Steakhouse. The steak tastes like a salt lick created for horses. It's also either turned into charcoal or still kicking on your plate. Just plain nasty. Save your money and go to anywhere else but Outback unless you like burnt Salt!!! Pros: air conditioned Cons: Salt, blood, charcol burnt more

outback #2 in baltimore? 5/27/2003

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Outback. I know it is a great value for the food you get, but as far as steak houses are concerned, ranking Outback over the likes of Morton's and Prime Rib is cause for concern. It brings in to question how many other steak houses the voters actually tried. Pros: inexpensive, good cold beer, fun food Cons: waiter knowledge, rare steak overcooked, service more

Right in the comfort zone 5/15/2003

compared to the overpriced Ruth's Chris, this place has got it right. Steaks are great. the Vitoria's Filet (seasoned and seared) is incredible and reasonably priced. more

Home Sweet Home! 1/22/2003

This place is like a second home for me. Great food, great service, great prices! Pros: Great Food, Great Prices, Great Staff Cons: Waiting Time more

never go back 1/13/2003

Bad food and prices to high for what you get. I would never go back more

why? 1/13/2003

Outback is one of the worst restaurants around. I have been there several times and I need a chainsaw to cut the meat, always overdone and never any flavor, skip this one and go for a real steakhouse. Cons: the food, the price more

Some is Good; More NOT always better 1/12/2003

Creative moderate use of seasonings should be used to enhance the flavor of a good steak. I have always found Outbacks steaks to be decent, but extremely salty, with the salt overpowering the taste of the meat. They also seem to favor heavily salting many other dishes, and I find that the skin of the baked potatoes inedible due to the salt. Message to Outback, lighten up folks, give our blood pressure a break and let the good food speak for itself. Pros: cheery atmosphere Cons: NOT worth long lines, Way too much salt, prices not reasonable more

awsome mate 1/3/2003

Great food, good beer, and fun for everyone! It is definatly me and my boyfriend's favorite place to go. Pros: good parking, friendly, atmosphere Cons: crowded more

Grill your own steak 1/2/2003

In general, my feeling is that if you are going to go out for steak at a steak house then you should pony up and go to the best. $20-30 a steak is pricy...but they know how to make an exceptional steak...and it is ususally quite the experience as a whole. Most of the mid-range chains charge 15-20 for a steak and you would be better off going to Fresh Fields and just pick up a choice piece of meat and some butter and hitting the stove. more

Looking for an excuse??? 1/2/2003

There were five in our group and you would have thought we had three hundred!!! It took forever to get our food, and even longer to get the check ~ then the waitress said the table had to be cleared before she could give us our check when we spoke up / talk about excuses!!! She was never around either to see how we were doing. We went in around 4pm and did not get out until 7pm. SAD!!! Cons: Extensive waits, Lots of excuses, Poor management more

Back out of this place! 12/26/2002

I don't know why I thought I was going to get a nice cut of beef at the Outback - the wait was extremely lengthy and not worth it. The meat was small and not tasty at all. Just reminds me that if you want a good cut of beef, go to an expensive steak house..... Pros: inexpensive, good parking, good onion rings Cons: poor quality meat, long wait, poor waite staff more

heavenly taste 12/23/2002

I have to admit outback steaks are absolutly marvealous. They are tender and just tantilize your tounge. Pros: excellent service, excellent food, hospitality never sto Cons: crowded, wait to be seated more

Are you kidding? 12/19/2002

The place is overrated but decent. I refuse to wait 2 1/2 hours for any place. I think people forget that its a large chain and there are many good locally owned steakhouses around. more

Worst! 12/19/2002

With out a doubt the worst!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheap yes! Poorly run yes! Lack of knowledge of how to make a medium rare steak! I guess we thought it Stunk! This goes for all Outbacks.---Should be Outhouses! Cons: Management, Owner, Franchise more

Greasy! 12/10/2002

Blooming onion was doughy and greasy. The steak was not cooked to order. It was sent back twice. I have been there several times and they still don't know how to cook steaks. Pros: Inexpensive Cons: Long wait, Greasy, Under-cooked more

Outback Steakhouse: ""Two Thumbs Down!"" 12/10/2002

Outback's Steakhouse is not for the steak conossieur. Its prices, food and service are that of a fast food place. Outback's steaks are the worst I've tried in a long time. $20 for a porterloin steak that won't even digest is ridiculous. I lived in Dallas, Texas for 11 years and I went to many steakhouses there, so I should know. Stay away from Outback if you can, I live in Baltimore, and I don't know how this restaurant was rated 2nd place in MSN's best steakhouses of Baltimore listings. more

Top ten you've got to be kidding 12/4/2002

The steaks at an Outback arent bad, but they are not in the same league as a Ruth Chris or Mortons. If you are looking for an inexpensive steak Outback is a good choice. If you are looking for a top quality prime steak, Outback would not even make the list. more

SO GOOD 12/4/2002

I FEEL OUTBACK IS ONE OF THE BEST STEAKHOUSES. EVERYTIME I GO TO OUTBACK MY FOOD IS PERFECT, THEY GIVE YOU LARGE PORTIONS OF FOOD THAT YOU CAN'T HELP BUT TO KEEP EATING. Pros: FAST SERVICE AT TABLE, GREAT PRICE, NICE SETTING Cons: THE WAIT, SNOBBY HOSTESSES, SLIPPERY FLOORS more
